Sooooo how many times have you peed tonight? I'm going on round five as soon as I can bring myself to roll out of bed. That will teach me not to drink a bottle of water before bed.
I get out of bed to pee and feel like I have to go again by the time I'm back in bed. This kid is camped out on my bladder and seems convinced it's his own personal trampoline.
4-ish. But hubby's got a shoulder issue going on (usually he's so good, but he's in a ton of pain & can't get comfortable) so when he wakes up I've been waking up. And for me waking up= peeing. The most I remember doing is 6 in one night. But I make no guarantees that my counting is accurate.
Oh god we were playing a card game and I was *constantly* holding it up with bathroom breaks. I wanted a catheter. The newest, and most tragic pee development in my life is that middle of the night /early morning pee, when it has always been so delicious to return to a warm bed and sleep - now I stay completely awake. Wtf! That return-to-sleep bliss is priceless dammit!!
It never fails for me that when I have to go so bad every morning, baby chooses to kick/punch/push or whatever he is doing right on my bladder! I usually only seem to get up once to go at night though, so I'm not gonna gripe too much.
I'm a very heavy sleeper once I fall asleep, so only once last night. Usually twice, but I was up an hour earlier than normal unable to go back to bed with LO doing some disco shit inside of me. Ahhhhh, sleeping in on the weekend, right?
1x/night like clockwork, even though I drink 1.5 liters of water after 8pm most nights. I..... don't know if I'm lucky or broken. I assume it gets worse?
@earthian I'm with you on that! Knock on wood I haven't had to get up in the night to pee, but I literally have to run to the bathroom when I wake up..
I'm usually only once per night, so far, but I'm later in March so I know it's going to get worse. I think my average was 3x per night in my 3rd trimester for my first son. It's cruel that as soon as the baby is delivered and you could sleep through the night without having to get up to pee, you can't because the baby is up every 2 hours. At least you have the frequent peeing gets you used to being awake at all hours of the night.
I'm up about 4-5 times a night. I wake up in pain from my hips and have to switch sides about every hour. And once I'm awake, I usually have to get up to go pee. It sucks.
I always make a mistake a drinking three water bottles before bed. I get SO thirsty at night, that I just chug them. Plus I have a cold and bronchitis right now, so with the coughing and sneezing, I am always peeing. I've coughed and peed my pants three times this week
I usually only wake up 1 - 2 times at night. Any time I go from sitting to standing during the day I have to pee. It really sucks at work because I go from sitting to standing quite often.
something i learned in my birthing class yesterday may help you ladies. try doing 40 pelvic rocks right before bed. i peed before i did them last night and then i swear i had to pee again...not a little pee, like full on i haven't peed in a while kind pee.
just get on all 4's, put a dip in your back (like your belly button is pushing more towards the floor) and then rock/tilt your pelvis like you're trying to suck your belly button in...your back will be slightly black-cat-arched and then just repeat...like i said, 40 times.

@rachyrach06 This will be so odd if it works. I'm a dubious skeptic normally, but I'm still going to try this...

@STDW3 i was also skeptical...honestly i've not had issues getting up to pee in the night. for me i do pretty good emptying my bladder before bed but when i wake up in the morning its painful my bladder is so full...i'm not quite sure how to make myself wake up to go.
the main reason they teach this "move" is because it helps get the baby into better position. technically this week i'm supposed to do 20 of them 4 times per day and then do 40 right before bed.
my coach is the one that mentioned that if i was having problems with getting up frequently to pee that this would help. I honestly didn't expect that it would make me have to pee again so quickly but i woke up the next morning without the painfully over full bladder that i've become accustomed to.
I can't count how many times I pee- maybe once an hour? The scary thing is how many times I've peed my pants. I wear panty liners daily. Never had this issue with being pregnant with DD
Um I get out of breath switching laundry. How on earth can you do 40 of those.
sloooooooooowly lol. My husband likes to count (since he gets such a great view of my rear side while i do it) which helps because i can focus on good form w/o having to focus on wth number i was just on

I can't stand up without having to pee though. I drove less than a mile in the car, went before and after - and hadn't had anything to drink in hours!
