uh oh. more wool troubleshooting

Me again. I may have a problem.

I washed and lanolized the cover according to GMD video and site you provided (thank you) and last night was our first go at wool. Fit is so nice and it's not and more trim than a cover (at least I think so).

DS was a little wet at the front, no worries I'll just put some more lanolin there after it dries (I'm guessing I can do that) but the main concern was the red rash that I found after I took his nighttime diaper off. First I've even seen this. It was red with dots on his bum and front. It went away really fast so I'm not too concerned about the rash but more what I did wrong so I can prevent it from reoccurring.

Wetness maybe? He does wear a fleece liner at night as being wet bugged him but not his skin. And the wool wasn't touching his bum as there was a fitted in between.

Thoughts? Should I re wash and lanolize again? Did I do something wrong?

    I didn't think it was the cover but it was the newest thing.

    The was a touch of poop. Likely a wet toot.

    Yesterday he had a touch of peanut butter some banana and squash. Oh and yogurt.

    The pb was. His poops are changing to more solid so maybe that's it too.
