**Ok, lovelies, we are trying out this new check in format that was posted on the boards. This check in will be posted the second and fourth Mondays of the month. Please do NOT update the old check in after the week of the check in has gone by. If you need anything from me between check ins, please PM me. As always ladies, I am here if you need anything. ((Hugs)) and I hope y'all have a wonderful week!!**

This is the weekly check-in for TTCALers who are also dealing with infertility. If you'd like to join us please feel free to intro with your diagnosis and history. We've had a few extra challenges thrown at us, ladies. Come here for snuggles from people who get what you're dealing with.

Fill us in, along with any other updates or vents you need to get out, TTCAL or NonTTCAL related.

If you get a BFP, please PM me and let me know. If you do not PM me I will not mention you in the check-in. If we haven’t heard from you in a few weeks please come back in with an update; or are new and want to join please post a brief intro with your DX and current/future treatment plans and then you'll be added to next week’s check in!

I just got home from another monitoring. Follies are growing nicely, I'll find out later based on my bloodwork if I go back tomorrow and start going everyday. The RE thinks ER will be this weekend! I'm excited but also pretty anxious about everything.

So, our first natural cycle was a bust (I expected as much). However, H decided to spring the fact that he wants to take longer off meds on CD1. I was an emotional hot mess about that. I still kinda am. I am not sure how to take it. He is so optimistic but I have no more of that left. I am pretty cynical. Also, if my endo is coming back, I am kinda freaking out. I find myself wondering if I should go back on BCP to keep it suppressed or what. I do NOT WANT ANOTHER LAP!! 2 less than a year apart from each other were more than enough.

Ok, that was depressing and I am no closer to figuring out anything.

QOTW: Fiji, we would go to Fiji. Hell, I would live there if I could, lol.

@megrae12 I am sorry the two of you are not on the same page. Have you expressed your concerns about the endo with him? What does your Dr think? Hugs lady. I hope you don't mind me taking your into about the new check in system for my AMA post.

The 2ww is getting the best of me. The trigger really effects my body in very cruel ways. I used my last hpt this morning to make sure the trigger was out and it is. Now I have about 5 more crazy waiting days.

I know the fear of bad news. Hugs. Maybe you can enjoy the treatment break and the holidays and deal with the more serious and stressful in January. It is nice to give our bodies a break once in a while, and you did ovulate last cycle. More hugs.

@mergrae12 I'm sorry DH sprung that on you. It's so tough when DHs do that. I know I think about things a lot in my head sometimes and then when I talk to my DH about them he's shocked because it's the first time he's hearing it but I've been mulling it over for a while. I hope the office doesn't give you news you don't want to hear ((HUGS))

@Km380 That is such great news!!! I would definitely talk to ladies on the IF board about OHSS so you can be armed with everything you need to prevent it! It's so wonderful that you are responding so well! YAY!

@rubysi I hate the 2WW so much!!!!! Can you make some awesome dinner dates with friends to distract yourself?

AFM: Thank God AF finally decided to show. My pre-op appt today went well and we are on for surgery on Friday. The only scary thing was my doctor wrote "surrogacy" on the line for next steps if this doesn't work. But we are all very hopeful that this is going to work. The nurse doing my blood work was so sweet today, she said "don't have a negative thought in your head! you have 7 babies just waiting for their home, now all you have to do is make it the safest place they can be". I know that isn't necessarily right but what good will being negative do me? I just have to hope this is the problem. If all goes well we would hope for a February FET.

QOTW: I would definitely go on an African safari

I haven't intro'ed on the IF board, I'm a creepy lurker. I'm a little intimidated bc I don't understand half of what I read there. I'm not sure how drive by questions are received over there. But I do already have gatorade on hand!

I asked the tech at the U/S if the lining continues to thicken after O, and she said no, that progesterone actually causes it to just stiffen up (?). I've gathered from reading on here that many times drs prescribe it to cover all the bases, and it doesn't really do any harm to take it. I plan to call this morning to get more information.

@LDubHawksFan Wow, you are on overdrive with this RE!! I am sorry your lining came back thin, that sucks. Hopefully once you start meds that will change. Are you going to do medicated cycles? My memory is not what it used to be these days, chalk it up to exhaustion. I hope you get some answers as to the progesterone. It won't hurt to take it, but I am always of the mind set that I want to know WHY I am taking something. ((Hugs)) hun.

@rubysi I know how the 2WW can drive you crazy. I actually hate the idea of testing out the trigger because seeing that negative test after seeing positives is so hard, but I'm doing it anyway.

@Frenchteachermama‌ good luck with your surgery! I like the thought that it's making a "safe home" for your babies.

@LDubHawksFan‌ glad your RE is moving with things. I feel like so much of IF us hurry up and wait.

So I'm officially in the 2WW post IUI. I'm 5dpt, 3dpiui. Started progesterone last night. Going to start testing out the trigger 5dpiui so I don't waste too many tests. Trying not to let the craziness set in. For whatever reason I'm not feeling too hopeful about this cycle.

QOTW: we have so many places we would like to visit but next big trip we are thinking Vietnam and Thailand. We also want to go back to Europe.

@nikiswimr I am sorry you do not feel very hopeful this cycle. I will have hope for you. I am keeping my FX that this is your cycle. I hope the crazy doesn't get to bad. Do you have anything planned that can keep you busy?

LOL, it is scary but I loved being a part of the monthly group over there! I would just make sure to ask your nurses and doctor about it. And in the mean time you could do an AW post over here or search the boards. I think the biggest advice they give everyone is to take it easy!

I agree about testing the trigger. I tested today to make sure if I got a bfp it wasn't the trigger. I hope you can hold off the craziness. I spent an hour this morning debating about the test.

My appointment is FINALLY this Friday. I'm so ready for it. I feel like we've been in limbo forever (or 2 1/2 months). I'm ready to get back on the treatment train. I'm not sure how ready DH is, but with our ages, we need to get on it. I also O'd earlier then normal this month so our timing was sucky. Oh well.

@km380 FX for a great egg retrieval!

Nothing new going on--at all. Benches be lonely. Oh well. CD1 next month I'll see my RE again and go back on Lupron and sit on that crazy bench..... But that bench has more shit going on with the headaches, nausea, joint pain..... But I'm doing it all again in the name of a baby!

@Km380‌ Some people do Lupron protocols for both IVF and FETs. I do an extended Lupron protocol for my adenomyosis. It is literally the only treatment for women who want to preserve their fertility.

Hi @megrae12‌ , thanks for the check in. Sorry about the difficult talk on cd1. After my 2nd mc, my husband (dating at time) sprung that he wanted to wait until we were married to ttc again. That was a really rough few months

AFM: just hanging out waiting for cd1. This month I told myself that we were ntnp and that it will be stress free. Of course, I still got hopeful and tested a few days this weekend. It was ridiculous bc I really have no idea when I Od lol! I was probably testing at 6dpo or something
Anyway, 2nd opinion is Jan 7th. When AF arrives, I'm going back to current clinic for update on shg bc I'm assuming the new clinic will want that anyway. At that time, I'm requesting my records.
I keep thinking how if we were staying with current clinic that I would be starting BC soon, for mid Jan ER.
Anyway, I am open to discuss what happened through pm. I really do hate keeping ur from you ladies

@Rachaeleigh ((Hugs)) NTNP is still hard despite our best attempts to the contrary. I hope your second opinion goes better than the first and they can offer y'all some more hope. Any idea when to expect AF? Try not to think about what you could be doing, etc. That is a never ending cycle and will just be on loop. IF sucks monkey balls, replaying that loop is just asking for a migraine.

Hey ladies...sorry I am late...I've been a little MIA lately due to my grandmother passing away =(. Yesterday was her funeral.

I'm swamped at work but I promised I will read up on everyone later!

AFM: Ultrasound is thursday so I should know then a little more about my FET. I'm getting impatient again and just ready to get this show on the road.

I thought about testing early, but I probably won't. I just hate seeing the bfn's.

I'm hoping to do it this spring. I know the RE is going to want to talk about me having a Lap and if I do we'll probably try another IUI or 2 after that but my plan is IVF March or April...hopefully the RE is on board with that.
