indoor rug

What kind of rug do you have inside your front door?  Anyone have a recommendation? We live in a cold climate where guests are bringing in snow and yuck on their boots and I want something that won't get stuck under the door and looks nice...TIA

I just bought the Waterhog mat from LLBean and I really like it. I ordered the "everyspace" one because I could customize the size. Medium gray. It is about 3' x7' and was $100.

ETA:  I was worried the door wouldn't fit over it because it is a tight squeeze, but ours fits just fine.

  • I also just ordered the Waterhog mats from LL Bean. They cost a fortune, but they are supposed to be great. I haven't really tested mine yet.

Last year I just had a cheap entry rug from Walmart and it held up okay.

  • thanks!! this was exactly what I needed. More than I would have spent at kohls but I'm sick and tired of buying crap that just has to be replaced.  Sorry this wasn't the most exciting post:)
