Company parties- Any pathetic/funny/embarrassing stories to share?

Ok ladies, it's that time of year, the dreaded, or not, holiday office parties. Has anyone ever done anything they regret, embarrassed yourselves, or have a funny story to share about "someone else" at a company party you've attended?

I will start and my story is as recent as last year's Christmas party. I am thinking about this because our 20th anniversary/Christmas party is tomorrow and I have a hard time controlling myself around all the free alcohol. Not to mention they are paying for our hotel at the resort for the night :-SS

Last year the Christmas party was at one of our owner's house, which was quite nice. Dinner outside near the water, good food, wine, and wine, and more wine.

I am not a big wine drinker but that's all there was and I am pathetic enough to drink any alcohol if it's free. So, for some reason I thought the wine supply was going to run out so I drank, and drank and drank. At one point I was with a couple of co-workers who were (almost) keeping up with me.

I looked at one guy and said "What number are you on?" and he said "6". I said to him "I'm almost on 10, catch up, PUSSY!"

Let's just say I am very competitive so I kept going...and I ended up passed out upstairs in one of the owner's bedrooms. Oh, and one of my co workers had to hold my hair back. Yes, I vomited in the owner's bathroom.

Not one of my finest moments but one of the pics of the aftermath is pretty damn funny, and shows how pathetic I really looked $:\$ ">

So, this afternoon in the office the coworker I called a pussy looked at me and said "are you ready for round 2 tomorrow night".

So, I am afraid for myself. This party my husband will be at (he wasn't there last year) and he enables me since he seems to LOVE me drunk. :-S

My DH and I just officially became grown ups 2 years ago. We were never invited to any type of holiday party so I try to behave. I'm usually the one that stands in the corner drinking eggnog. I'm pretty much a loner, thank god for my outgoing Husband.

@holdingouthope I am so glad I am not the only one! And the professional photographer at the function tomorrow is my friend so the Captain Morgan pose may happen!

I have been known to bring in a flask when it's company parties that have no alcohol. That's pretty embarrassing, when you're the ONLY drunk one haha

@agpjt413 the thing that pisses me off about needing my hair held back is I just don't hardly ever get hangovers. When I drink I tend to drink a lot but I've only gotten sick about 4-5 times in my life.

I think the worst part about this particular story is that the owner did a tour of the house for people and when he came to the room I was in (the door was closed thank goodness) he said "and this here is Nikki's room". Ugh haha

@agpjt413 I am a professional binge drinker. I don't drink every day but when I do I drink to make up for all the day I didn't. I am not really proud of that /:)

@amybunny30, they took pictures?? I hope they didn't spread them around :-/

And I love the fact that they made a song about their penises!

@nikolie93 and @holdingouthope I want to party with you guys!! I have to say, of all my bad behavior at company parties at my old job, I had a friend who ALWAYS took the cake. I felt better knowing that even though I was a hot mess, she was the one getting kicked out of the after party for going in the bathroom with a co-worker and getting caught by the bartender.

@whitneyandconcep I would probably (most definitely) make your hot mess self feel better. The stupidest, most embarrassing shit happens to me and it magnfies when I drink!

@holdingouthope I had no idea I was even to that point. I was fine one minute and BAM...12 wines later I was done

I am hoping I don't have to come in here Saturday with a new story and I just keep it in the nightly confession thread

Definitely had to hold one of my co-workers hair while she threw up in the bathroom at the holiday party a couple years back while MH ran to the bar to bring her glasses of water...
Not funny at the time, but pretty amusing looking back on it!

@heartbot trust me, if there was a choice I would rather not but I work for a smaller company where the owners are very engaged so it would not be good to not show

It wasn't a Christmas party - but my former bosses annual Halloween party at his house. His brother flew in for the event and since at the time my boss was 27 and I was 24 it was a drunk fest with much craziness. I ended up having a one night stand with his brother in the guest bedroom. Pretty much became known as the office slut that night. Thank god it was in another state and I have not seen any of those people in over ten years.

I worked there another two years but since everyone in my dept were 20 somethings they didn't think it was a big deal - it was just other depts. And funny he came back for the next years party and I decided screw it they already know I slept with him so we hioked up again - but this time we went to my place.

I'm the good girl at work parties. There is something about being drunk around my boss that freaks me out.

Good news is, I work for myself now - so I act however the fuck I want now!

@mlal78‌ that's so creepy!

Well, I survived mine Friday night but I got pretty much hammered. Here are some highlights:

- open bar started at 5 but MH and I got there before 4 and felt the need to pre-game

- I feel and busted my knee in front of many, many people

-I danced.. And it wasn't pretty. MH decided to ask the DJ to play Rhianna's s&m song which I made up a dance for. A dance that I think is sexy but I only do when I'm hammered... And I'm pretty sure it wasn't work appropriate

- my favorite Co worker is dating a guy in the office. He got pissed and went the hotel room early because she was dancing with another Co worker guy (which we were all dancing with everyone so that was dumb

And this is where it gets better, thank goodness it was only a handful of us left.

-MH jumped in the pool, fully clothed. And I of course he had to throw me in, dress and all. He then threw in one of my Co workers who happened to have his phone in his hand. I will find out if he's pissed monday lol

-I wanted to go put my toes on the ocean. Go down there with MH and a couple of coworkers. Had to pee so I walked into the ocean (still in my dress) and squatted.

- we ended the night at a restaurant at the resort that wasn't serving food (it was 1am)so we ordered pizza for delivery to eat in that restaurant. I have how we don't get kicked out.

-loud, dirty, drunken, hotel sex (I won't go into detail here, maybe the nightly confessions thread) and when we woke up in the morning I heard the room next door's TV. Paper thin walls.. And there were Co workers in both rooms next to us $:\$ ">

One more thing ** someone else's baby mentioned**

-at 1am at the restaurant my a Co worker came in with his wife and their brand new baby. I completely lost it, ugly cried and all. I sat in the bathroom for 20 minutes drunk crying. Finally a Co worker came to check on me. I went back out and luckily the people left over know if my losses so they understood and had been through similar losses.

So, there it is (sorry so long) . Our friend was the hired photographer and I have the jump drive with 800+ pics on it. I think I may remove some before I give it to the owner lol

@crimpgirl‌ they did a bit more this year because it was our 20th anniversary. Usually it's lunch somewhere lol. But 5 bucks a person?? I have no idea

As for pics, I will have to see what they look like first, I'm worried. The good news is the photographer was gone by the time the bad stuff started. And I don't think anyone took pics... Hopefully not of me in the pool or ocean haha
