That I'm not sleep training and letting dd nurse both times when she wakes in the motn? Had a friend give me a hard time about her not sleeping through the night yet, but she does sleep a 5 hour stretch, eat then back to sleep for another three hours, eat then up another 1-2 hours later. We've tried an early bedtime and a late one. And honestly the two wakes up don't bother me much anymore, but tired of people telling me she should be sleeping ALL night and not waking. Ugh, sorry more of a vent I suppose :-/
Re: Is it really that crazy?
This has worked for us since day 1. I won't sleep train as I personally don't see the benefit until he's fully weaned. But that's me and he doesn't fully wake up anyway and I've never had trouble getting him back down.
On a good night he's up 2 to 3 times. Anything after 3 something is off, whatever it may be.
My friend talks all the time of her son sleeping through the night. But it took a lot of screaming to get there. It works for some and some not.
To be honest. I can count on one hand how many times in the past few years I've slept through the night. I'm always up at least once or twice. I do want to teach him what to do when he does wake at night and how to go back to sleep.
Anyway. I digress. No you are not crazy
Every time I read your posts I read them with Amy Farrah Fowlers voice. Just sayin'
You have to do what is best for you and for your family. If you are okay with nursing at night then do what feels best! There are no rules or right ways to do this job

He's my last baby, probably, so I'm soaking up the snuggles. I know from DD that he'll grow up and not want the rocking or snuggles too soon.
