  That's reaching. I know tensions and emotions are high right now, but that's really a stretch to shout racism over that. Would it make people feel better if he had sung "I'm dreaming of a snowy Christmas"? Because that's what white means here (I know you know that).

  Also not so sure about the source of this "article." Seems like a really right wing site. With any extreme view, it's easy to pick one or two things to harp on. Maybe those were the only people in all of twitterverse who said anything like that and this site tried to make it a thing.

  The one that basically said "they've got a black man singing "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas". Fucking white people." Was pretty obvious IMO, but I still don't think that should warrant an article, blog post, whatever that was.

  I think it's ridiculous. And what's more annoying is that yesterday our local paper's front page had a big picture of a "die-in" in the Apple store in Times Square with a bunch of protesters lying all over the floor....and most of them were playing on their smart phones. Umm, you're representing dead people....or, you're just jumping on the next "cause" for the hell of it, which ever. Commit to your protests people!!
  
  I have no problem with these peaceful protests. In fact, I'm pretty proud of the NY ones for being so calm and, therefore, productive. However, I really don't get the connection between racial profiling/police brutality and consumerism. Like, shouldn't they be outside the Supreme Court instead of Macys? Macys can't enact policy change. But they do have the most magical Christmas windows in the world and that's power!! lol.
