Big boob bra recommendations?

Does anyone have a good recommendation for *big* bras? Pre pregnancy I was in a 38DDD, but my boobs are so swollen and tender I'd like to find something bigger. Its hard to buy online without trying it on, and the maternity specialty store near me closed. Anything in a dept store or some national chain? Thanks in advance!

  • I order all of my bras online, typically from Amazon. Getting a good idea of your new size before ordering online helps immensely! I highly recommend this sizing calculator: https://www.brasizecalculator.tk/home.html

I love Lane Bryant's bra collection.  They're the only ones that really hold the girls in.

Edit: Adding in I'm normally a 38DDD as well

  • I'm actually a 32 J! It's awful. Anyways, when I was trying to find the right bra to fit, I shopped anywhere that had free returns. Amazon sometimes does, bare necessities.com. Then when I found one that fit, I went to ebay. The bras in my size are usually $72+ and I can find the same ones new on ebay for $20-$30.

Also if you haven't, I would research online how to size yourself. I was wearing a 36 DDD a few months ago and turned out I was wearing completely the wrong size! Not saying anybody here is wrong, just turns out like 70% of women wear the wrong size bra.

Im a 42 F. Lane Bryant carries up to H in store but I think they go higher on line. I measured myself using the link in someone's sig on here [I'm on mobile now so can't see to tell you who, but I think it's the same link someone posted in this thread]. According to that I'm a 42K. The Amazon sells the Goddess brand which looks similar to the style I get at LB anyway so I'm gonna give that a try.

  • I like the maidenform t-shirt bra. Maidenform also has other bras but the t-shirt bra doesn't add bulk, has an underwire, and looks really natural. FYI: I am a 36dd but I am outgrowing quickly!
  • Nursing bras normally have really big sizes...try pea in the pod.
  • I got some 12$ nursing bras from Wal-Mart. I am in love. I am normally a 40 DD. It has a sizing chart on the back. I love it. And they had a fee styles to choose from.
  • Walmart nursing and maternity bras are cheap and comfy.
  • Destination maternity has great sales once you figure out your size.

  • Thank you everyone for the suggestions! I tried Lane Bryant but everything was miserable and nothing fit. Then I went to Motherhood Maternity & found a bra by Dita Von Teese that fit great, was comfortable and has room to grow! I tried on so many before that I was afraid I'd never find one!
