  What's the point of asking for feedback if everyone is going to say "awesome!" "great", "couldn't have chosen a better name!" We give our honest opinions and if you are looking for validation go somewhere else. Don't ask for opinions if aren't prepared for real answers.

  Lol - I appreciated the honest feedback I got about our chosen girl name & our daughter would have, too. I felt a little stupid, but much better than a lifetime of stupid. IRL many people keep opinions about names to themselves, but those opinions can impact how people treat a child/job applicant/etc. A forum like this is really important!

  People IRL will be tactful or compliment a name, then make fun of it behind your back. This board is not for that. Often posters will say something is not their style, which is meant to convey the name is fine and legit but not for them. If they flat out say it's bad, that means they can't find anything constructive or complimentary to say about it and you should scrap it. Before it's too late. If they were diplomatic and said nms about everything, this place would just be a circle jerk. Instead, it is a place to get honest feedback from name nerds that have educated themselves on the history, cultural background and correct spelling of names.
  
  And if people would read through just a few threads, they would know that Bryleigh and Jaxtyn will not be tolerated here. Ever.
