Depends. If it's getting eaten immediately, PB on just one side. If it's getting packed in a lunch, PB on both slices with jelly in the middle to keep the bread from getting soggy.
Huh. I never thought of it that way. Good point about the bread getting soggy on the jelly side..
Eta I normally do pb on one slice, jelly on the other.
Yeah, this. I need a SS for "Put PB on one piece of bread, cover with another piece. Put jelly back in fridge and never again consider defiling a perfectly good PB sandwich with jelly."
I'm 45 years old, I have 2 kids and I have never made nor eaten a PB&J sandwich.
I didn't like peanut butter when I was a kid. My kids think they are allergic (peanut ban at the daycare they interpreted personally, they are not allergic). I usually only buy peanut butter to bait mousetraps (then I eat the rest on dark toast).
promised myself I'd retire when I turned gold, and yet here I am

Oi. I was mostly joking. If I was gonna GBCB I'd at least remember to call you all bitches or something sweet to let you remember me by.
Then again I just got a ton of post it's made up about how I'm some creep who likes soggy PB&J's.
