Hello ladies. I know its completely not okay to have a second shower. I never had one for my first and now I have someone that wanted to throw me one for the new baby. I still feel weird about it, because I still have stuff from my first. Yes, we bought it ourselves....but thats what parents are supposed to do lol Am I crazy for wanting to decline the offer?

Not crazy, polite. It doesn't matter if you had a shower for your first or not. Showers are for first time moms.

Thats how I put it to the person offering it. But of course, they insist. I think I might have to be a little more straight forward than I was. Maybe I will do something after he is born. Thats enough for me. Lol.

Tell her you already have what you need and don't need to put anyone out for your second kid, but you appreciate the offer.
