  Hello!  I'm 18w5d today!  These last 7-8 days are the first time in months that I feel normal again, so I am very excited to return as a productive member of society.  Still get heartburn, but I'll take that any day over nausea.  

  
  

  We had our anatomy scan Tuesday.  Confirmed it's definitely a girl, and everything looked healthy and great.  The only downer was that she was positioned funny, and I could barely make out what I was looking at.  Hopefully we get a profile shot next time.  I do get happy looking at a little picture of her legs - the only thing I could make out other than her spine.  For about 2 seconds, she stretched out and we could see her itty bitty feet.

  
  

  
  

  
  

  QOTW: All the holiday traditions DH and I started involve booze...so yeah, we need to do something new.  For Christmas, I'll try out baking cookies.  We do rent a cabin in the Texas Hill Country every summer and spend the week cooking BBQ and swimming.  I'd like to keep doing that.

  AFM, I'm 15 weeks today!  All my work pants have turned into maternity pants.  I was tired of walking around with my pants unbuttoned, and still being too tight.  These stretchy pants are amazing.
  
  We will be attempting to find out the sex Saturday!  I can't wait to have my husband their for an ultrasound.  He's never seen one past about 6 weeks.  Pictures just aren't the same.  Then I have a regular, routine OB appointment on Wednesday.
  
  QOTW:  I haven't really talked with DH about this yet... we seem to have different thoughts on traditions.  On Christmas Eve my family would always go to church, then out to dinner, then drive around and look at Christmas lights.  I loved it.

  @gsancho So glad everything looked great at your A/S! What a cute pic of her little feet!

  @ky29 I hope you can find out this weekend! It was a very fun experience for us; I felt like it was my time to act like all the other "normal" pregnant ladies! My H also hadn't seen any of the ultrasounds since 7w, so he loved it too! I hope it's a great experience for you!

  @hbanana18 I hope your NT scan goes well! I used to love looking at the lights on other people's houses too! It was always fun; we'd also go in our pajamas so that was fun!

  
  

  I'm almost 20w this weekend and just had an OB checkup. Baby's heartbeat was good! I have my A/S in two weeks and I'm pretty excited to see the baby again. I did some shopping on Friday and got lots of new maternity clothes for work so I'm glad to be comfortable now! Nothing else really going on; work is busy as usual. I am looking forward to our winter break in a few weeks!

  
  

  QOTW: We haven't really talked too much yet about this. However, we did talk about how we want to have Christmas at our home and will not be taking the baby everywhere on Christmas. People can come visit us if they want to but I want my child to get to stay home and play with his new toys(when he's older)! We usually watch a Christmas movie on Thanksgiving weekend to get in the spirit. My H also used to open one present (from parents not Santa) on Christmas Eve and I think we will continue to do that. It's fun to get to open something the night before.

  Hi all!
  
  It's been a busy, busy week in our home. Finished the nursery (okay, like 95% anyway), almost ended up in L&D with contractions every 5 minutes (they eventually went away, thankfully), received our maternity photos (love them!), got an ultrasound today (LO hates having his photo taken, little stinker), hacked off my hair (it's a little too short, but at least it will be wash-and-go no maintenance for a few months!) and now I am onto weekly appointments!
  
  I am 34w2d today. I am apparently dilated 1-2 cm but not effaced, and baby is in the right position. My doctors think he's going to come before his due date, but probably not pre-term. So at least 3 more weeks still to go! I am hoping to make it to 38 weeks, so Dec 30th. Eeek shit is getting REAL! Where the hell did time go???
  
  QOTW: Nothing really unusual that I can think of. I want to continue my family's tradition of an appetizer feast for Christmas Eve, and I kind of want to make matching family pajama bottoms every year.

  I'm 7 weeks. We had our first ultrasound Tuesday and everything looks perfect! Heart rate was 135 and little junior measured right at 7 weeks. It was such a relief!
  
  QOTW...haven't given traditions any thought really. As for Christmas ones, I know we WON'T be doing Elf on the Shelf.

  Hello lovely ladies! I am 7wks (and some days). I am also sick, everyone at work is sick and I knew I was gonna get it. So not being able to take my usual nyquil coma is maddening. I have been sleeping a bunch. Very little nausea still but it hits me only at night. I dont think I will eat soft pretzels or drink grape soda anytime in th near future. Sadly these were 2 of my favorites before being PG.

  
  

  I go a week from today to get my 8wk US then if thats good I am released to my OBGYN and have that appt 2 days before xmas SOOO excited. I keep lurking here and watching for more ladies to join us. I am really hoping for an influx of xmas BFP presents! I miss you all a bunch.

  Hey ladies! 14w3d here. Not a whole lot has changed. My next dr appt is the 16th! And I am going to surprise DH with a surprise visit to peek in the pod. It's a paid u/s to find out the sex of the baby. Other wise we have to wait until January because of the holidays. All symptoms have settled down. I'm considering my self lucky for now!
  
  QOTW- my parents always gave us Christmas Jammie's on Christmas Eve so I want to continue to do that. And my mom always did a Christmas countdown calendar with us and of course stockings! There's a few other things I want to continue to do with my new family

  Me: 26 (IC/PCOS-2000mg of Metformin daily)

  DH: 27 (SA results were great minus the slightly low morphology)
