Anyone else bored at work/home?

Here's my cute story from last night. Our across-the-street neighbors just put up their Christmas lights (first ones on the block) and when DD got out of the car after daycare last night she was in awe. She stood there staring for awhile and then said "Oh, it's CUTE!"

What funny things have your LOs said lately?

Often times J answers back with this exact phrase....

Me: Please take your coat and put it on the bench.

J: Oh, okay Mommy....

He says this for about everything he is asked to do.

He always announces when someone is in the bathroom. He'll run up to me, get in my face and say "MOMMY!! Daddy in the potty!!".

DD had a new think where if you ask her a question she doesn't know the answer to, her token answer is immediately PINK. This is super girly and hilarious to me.

It's "Go Raiders!" at our house. DD thinks it's general thing you say whenever you see football on t.v., LOL. That'll get her in trouble some day. (P.S. DH is the Raiders fan, I'm not a football fan let alone the Raiders!)

When dd is looking at her brother I will ask her what she thinks. She will look at him and go "it's cute". I think it's hilarious.

Whenever we are out and about dd will talk to whoever will listen, point to dh and say "that's my daddy". It's adorable. And the look on DH's face is priceless.

We started our Advent calendar this month and I'm letting B open the doors and have the little piece of chocolate. Each morning she now runs to the calendar and shouts 'cock mama, cock!!'

Not sure how we got cock from chocolate, but there you are.

@chilibeansm0m‌ kinda off-topic, but I have to say that you were right about Frozen, lol. Amelia calls it "girl show" or "let it go" and of course it's EVERYwhere so she's always yelling Elsa and Anna in stores. She's obsessed. Thankfully, I don't hate it...but I do have about five songs stuck in my head at any given time.

Actual contribution--when we wake up, she's usually staring me in the face and lately she's been saying "hi, Mama, how's sleeping?" Lol

The other day I said to dd "are you mama's favorite girl?" She says "no, I a mermaid".

DD has been saying "Thanks" when we give her stuff and for some reason I find it funnier than the Thank Yous. She also mixes it up and will say You're welcome.

When you ask her a question and she doesn't know the answer, she immediately answers, "PINK."

When DD gets hurt in anyway (bumps her head, etc) she cries out for an ice pack. Except it sounds like she's shouting "Ass pack! Ass pack!"
