AW dadalou's ultrasound today

I posted this in the Monday randoms too.

I had my 20 week ultrasound this afternoon. DH and DD were able to come with me.

The ultrasound went well. It was a level 2 so it was pretty long. Baby was not cooperating and did not want to move for the tech so there was lots of pushing really hard into my belly to try and get pictures and lots of belly jiggling to try and get baby to move. We were able to find out that it's a girl (as DD has been adamantly saying for weeks). Also there is very little chance of any abnormalities. They want to do another ultrasound at 30 weeks so I'll get another chance to see her. Yay! I already have the appointment made.

DH asked DD if she was happy it was a sister. She said yes. Then he asked her if she would have been happy if it was a brother. She said no. It was going to be a sister.
