We still bathe LO in a basin on the kitchen counter, but lately he's been grabbing at everything in sight. We should probably move him upstairs to the regular tub, but it's so deep I fear for my back! Where do you bathe LO?
We have DS in the tub. We actually use a laundry basket and put him in it inside the tub. It keeps him from slipping and his toys from floating away. He loves it! He would spend hours in the tub if I let him.
Bathtub in this bin type thing I got from my mom. It's perfect because he's got room to move but his toys won't float away. I'll search for a pic and share. I sit on the floor next to the tub
Big tub! Not gonna lie, we were pretttty excited to get rid of the baby tub! (Small old house, minimal storage besides the basement) DD loves her freedom in our regular tub
I like the idea of the baby bath tub in the big tub! Then I wouldn't have to use so much water filling it up, and I could actually sit in the big tub next to him instead of leaning over the side.
baby tub in the big tub here, too, but the baby tub is almost too small.
I tried the laundry basket in the big tub once, but she slipped all over on her bottom and was freaking out... maybe when she's a stronger sitter. I think the next step is on her back in the big tub with just a few inches of water and maybe a towel under her to make it softer.
Baby tub in the big tub. We moved there from the kitchen sink a while ago due to the baby tsunami of splashing. I still should wear a wet suit for bath time!

I was previously unaware that people used infant tubs in places other than in the big tub. I thought babies either bathed in the sink, were held in the shower, or (like most babies) tub-ception.
That's funny, because it didn't occur to me to put it in the big tub... I was thinking I would just put him in the regular tub!

Ha ha we have a tsunami here too! I've been using it to my advantage to wipe down the kitchen counters afterwards, but I often end up soaked myself!
In the bathtub. She is a really strong sitter, but from time to time she lunges after toys face first into the water. I sit on the floor next to the tub, but I keep the infant seat in there so I can lay her down to wash her feet and bottom more easily
Inflatable ducky tub inside the big tub. This way if he face plants he just bounces off the side of the duck.
"Oh Eli, there's a sanctity in your innocence. A certain beauty and no uncertain strength that brings me to the faith. I don't know if I am climbing to or falling in, but it comes like grace from your tiny hands when I hold you in mine." - Eli's Song
We still do her reclined seat in the big tub. We tried sitting her in the tub and she did a face plant and scared me enough to wait awhile before we try that again. She loves her seat though because she can kick her legs and splash.
Similarly we use the reclining seat in the big tub (have since he was a month old?) though he's starting to hate the seat so I think we may try without it.

Sitting side of her baby tub inside our master bathroom tub. I usually sit on the side on the floor or against the wall with my feet inside the tub. She could easily just sit in our tub but I want to get a mat to put down first.

I put a towel in the laundry basket so LO doesn't slip.
We did our first bath in the regular tub today. LO loved splashing and toys floating around her, but it was much easier with her sitting then when she laid down. Then she got very wiggly. I was using a baby 3in1 fisher price tub before today. I still think I will use the baby tub, but not all the time.
@Nik102 I've seen that on Pinterest. Was there something that made you realize baby was ready for it? I'm looking forward to doing that, and now that Logan sits up very confidently I"m thinking he may be ready, especially once he gets his bath toys for Christmas.
Right now he just bathes in the big tub, and I sit by the tub wishing I had a rain poncho on because he LOVES to splash!
