  • @BunnyBerry‌ I will join you on that. After what we thought was a turn for the better for my abuela, she's started rapidly declining. My uncle doesn't think she will last much longer. The doctors aren't sure. Chemo has stopped. I wanted to fly out in January to see her again but I hope I'm not too late and we might be moving then so I wouldn't be able to. TP cancer! It effing sucks! I'm sorry you're going through all that as well. I know how hard it is.

  • @BunnyBerry I'm joining in on TP to cancer!! We've been battling it 34 months now with your Dad &he's stage 4. Smelling peppermint oil helps with the nausea. We've found lots of other tricks like that if you are ever interested.

  • @BunnyBerry‌ so sorry! Cancer sucks! I totally understand how sick it makes people. I felt horrible the whole entire year and a half I was in treatment. I took all kinds of meds to help.. If you ever want to talk to anyone or need some help just let me know!

As to the rest of the ladies hugs to you all! I don't have a TP but it's still early...

  • @BunnyBerry‌ I'm so sorry. TP to cancer!

@BlueJoan‌ Why do people think it's okay to tell others how they should feel when they haven't experienced a situation?!? I get nobody is perfect, but sheesh. TP to ignorance about infertility.

@iPutKetchupOnKetchup‌ YES!!! TP to Kim. I read that article and thought the same thing. Yes for some reason I find the Kardashian train wrecks entertaining. I don't normally admit to people that I pay attention to them though. Just one more thing she's said to get attention. She is crazy!

    ****pregnancy mentioned****

And TP to Kourtney Kardashian too! My favorite quote about here recent photos: "This is something I initially did for myself just to capture this moment in my life, but these photos are beautiful and I'm happy to share them." So you didn't do this to get paid and you weren't planning to share them publicly?
  • BunnyBerry  sorry about your grandmas. Wishing them as much comfort as possible.

Official diagnosis: Unexplained IF. I am 32. I have low ovarian reserve (low AMH), and poor egg quality. I've also been diagnosed with mild glandular developmental arrest (lining problems, detected with EFT).

We are using open ID donor sperm. IUIs #1-7=BFN. IVF September 2014 antagonist protocol, 8R,5M,3F, 5 day transfer of 1 morula = BFN. IVF#2 planned for January 2015 (antagonist protocol + HGH).

  • @LindseyM2012‌, I hate when people over the age of 21 talk like valley girl cheerleaders. This isn't a Bring It On movie, so if you're going to talk like you're in a movie, pick one with better dialogue!

  • Wow :::hugs::: to you all!  Cancer is so horrific and I'm sorry so many of you are having to see your loved ones go through it.  I wish them and you all peace.

Mine is minor but still bugs.  TP to the RE's office fail yesterday.  Don't get me wrong, I liked him a lot and we were give quite a bit of information and we for the most part loved it.  Unfortunately I had sent an email with pertinent medical records (SA, HSG, TVU, etc) back on October 17th and apparently they were not printed out for our RE.  I figured we were so well prepared in advance I didn't need to bring them in with us.  The woman who got them and said she did was on vacation so we had to email them again today.  Still waiting for my RE to review them today and get a call back with treatment options.  Just makes me upset at myself that I put so much faith which is unlike me and of course it falls through.
  • My TP goes to my Christmas tree stand (can I even do that???). I came home from work today and the entire thing was tipped over, with most of my favorite ornaments broken. I picked it up and started cleaning everything up and as I'm under it, it falls again. I was trapped under the 9ft tree, without a phone and my husband wasn't home for at least 45 minutes. If the stand says it can hold up to a 12 foot tree it should be able to handle a 9 foot tree with no issues. I laid under the tree and sobbed while plucking the few remaining ornaments that I could reach. Also, the entire time this was going on my 3 crazy dogs laid on the couch peacefully, which never happens, like ever.

@hrushka‌ - I'm sorry you got caught too. I got caught up in protesters yesterday too! They completely blocked off several streets in downtown Chicago and I missed my train. They ended up getting violent later in the night, so I'm glad I ran into them earlier. I agree that ALL LIVES matter. But my schedule matters to me. Disrupting that will not make me join your rally.

ETA: Maybe this should have been my FFFC. Sorry if my statement is offensive to anyone (I know it's a sensitive topic).

  • It's late but can I TP myself for leaving my stethoscope at the hospital for my school clinicals last night.  I took it off to help transfer a patient who was on contact precautions but forgot to pick it back up when I left the room.  I'm 99.9% certain it won't be there when I get back tonight.  There's $75 I didn't have now going to buy a new stethoscope.

  • @lemonliz I'm sorry, that is so unfair. I would see if I could do anything about forcing the project head to provide that from somewhere if it was promised to you. Hard to believe the lead professor could be allowed to renege on salary he had promised to pay. :(

  • @lemonliz‌ That just sucks. I'm so sorry. That's completely unfair.

@shafwilson‌ TP to annoying co-workers! Of course they know what you life decisions are and can predict the future.

@LLM100811‌ Technology is great when it works! My phone is my lifeline to the world! Glad you've got a working phone again.

I'm adding another TP. Just found out a very close family friend (she was a 2nd mom to me during middle and high school) has stage 4 brain cancer. Sucks. Just sucks. Another TP to cancer!
  • I will second the TPs to cancer, and I'm sorry about your pay situation @lemonliz‌ . Do you have a union as a research assistant that could be helping you with this? It seems irrelevant to me whether there was money provided in the grant if there was a promise to pay and you worked based on that promise. A very late TP to my oven for breaking down today. I've repaired it in the past but it's a terrible appliance and I don't want to spend more money fixing it. Any money I saved by not cycling this month just went to Sears for a new oven.
