pain during sex?

Sorry if this is TMI but I can't get into see my doctor until next week. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and last night when my boyfriend and I were having sex I got a lot of pain. It felt like he was hitting my cervix but he wasn't even half way in. I can feel my cervix (I think its my cervix) really low like two inches from the opening. Is this normal? I'm concern its prolapsing as my mother had this issue after her 3rd child (this is only my first)
