Do you go through tons of pregnancy tests?

I swear I have gone through hundreds of pregnancy tests. We've been TTC for 3 years and I can't help but take pregnancy tests all. the. time. I know it's probably obsessive but I just can't help it. It's probably like how people say not to weigh yourself every day.... Well I do that too. Lol. Anyhow this is mostly a post to help you out if you are like me. Well after hundreds of dollars spent on the way over priced tests a long overdue lightbulb went off in my head and I hastily checked one of my all time favorite shopping sources EBAY!! Yes EBAY!! Yay for eBay! You can buy tons of tests, like 20 for $2! Or more if you want lol! They are just the paper strip, but it's the same as any other test, just no big bulky plastic holder, so not only is it way cheaper, it's technically better for the environment. So, double bonus.

I did when I first started TTC. But then I realized how ridiculous I was. So I would imagine that every time I POAS, I was peeing on the money. Ex: If the test cost $5, I'd imagine I'm just unnecessarily peeing on a $5 bill. For DH and I, since we're really trying to save, it was a huge slap in the face. (One month I got to $37, I was not proud) I have 3 tests left, that I have no intention on using them until I am well past CD1. And they are the expensive ones, because I think I'm less likely to POAS if I know I'm potentially wasting money.

Nope. With an LP of usually 11 days, I feel like testing early would give me a bfn any way.
If I ever make it to 14 DPO, then I'll test.

They have ovulation tests too!!!! I just bought a combo of 30 ovulation tests and 20 pregnancy tests for $5!!!

Used to when first TTC not anymore. I hate pissing away money. I have one box and a few cheapies left but I had my husband hide them from me. He would be mad if I went out and bought more so I don't and he will reveal their secret location if and when I am late.

I just realized that the one test I have in the house is a digi that's from last October. I should probably check the expiration on that and toss it. I keep thinking I'll get a small pack of FRERs, but I'm one of those jinxy people, so I won't buy them til I need them.

So, no, I don't pee on many tests. I wait until 15 DPO and if I'm not having any spotting yet, I test then.

No because I would have no money if I did that. When I was TTC at first I went through dollar store pregnancy tests like crazy but quickly realized it was a pointless waste of time and money.

I take one every few months. We've been TTC for a year and I think I've used maybe 5 or 6 tests in that time. I do have the cheapie Wondfo's, but still hate to "waste" them.

Since my IUD was removed in August I have used one HPT. The only reason for that one is because I thought AF was "late." These ladies educated me on the blessings of BBT and checking CM that I haven't had the need for HPTs, especially if we had shitty timing. No need for me to waste money on something that will just end up being a BFN.

Most of us use the Wondfos then First Response to follow it up and maybe a digital after. Never the blue dye. Always pink.

BUT...if you are temping and know your LP you really don't use a lot of tests.

After I caught a CP I don't POAS ever. Before that I bought $tree tests and peed on them things like I was getting paid for it.
