"Is this normal?" #5287

When R wakes up overnight crying and I go into his room I usually offer the paci first (which never works). When I pick him up to soothe him, his eyes are always closed and he's just crying really hard and flailing around. He'll cry until he gets to nurse and then goes right back to sleep most of the time.

He's not really "awake" ever though. I'm glad that he goes right back to sleep since he still wakes at least 3 times, but is that normal? He just screams while mostly asleep.

He's 6 months today (holy crap how did that happen?!?).
