Hello ladies,
Nothing new here this week. Feeling a little more crampy but hoping it's just regular growing pains. Started the b12 injections; they are intramuscular and kinda painful. I just had a friend do the first one in the middle of the night shift I'm currently finishing. I'll let ya know if it gives me super powers!
GTKY: What do you sleep in? Full pjs? Nudie? Burlap sack? What's your blanket situation? Fleece sheets? Silk? Cotton? Comforter or duvet?
I do tank top, no bra EVER, and comfy underpants (I change of out sexy lacy thongy ones if that was what I was wearing, into full bum cotton ones). I use cotton sheets and a duvet, and if it's really cold I add a soft fleece blanket between me and the sheets like I'm a caterpillar. Mmm cozy!
Re: High Risk Check-In 12/5
I sleep in my new maternity underwear. I have flannel sheets on my bed and I usually have a fleece throw blanket to help keep me warm until I kick it off when I'm too hot.
Tuesday is our anatomy scan. And the start of our every 3-4 week ultrasounds.
I sleep naked. We have a top sheet and a comforter and sleep with a window cracked. I love it freeeeeeeeeeeezing in my room because I like to burrow under the blankets and snuggle with H. Though being pregnant makes me a giant heater so snuggling with H doesn't happen much anymore.
I have to sleep in just underware. I hate clothing in bed and only soft cotton sheets.
Baby has been doing some moving when I lay down to go to bed. Like moving my stomach. Freaked me out a little. Lol

Undies, usually. Sometimes a shirt depending on how cold it is. We've got sheets that say eucalyptus on the package and they're super nice. We've got a duvet as well. I like the room to be at like 74 at night when it's not freezing outside so makes getting out of bed sucky after being in a nice warm bed but I sleep really well. Also I've been using a body pillow since I was a teenager. I have a hard time not having one.
I'm pretty glad I just have the daily injections in the stomach... they don't sound as painful as the muscular ones. Still, moving right along, one week closer to it being over. I feel uncomfortable in every normal way. I'm still vomiting with my MS.
GTKY, I usually sleep in a t-shirt and either pajama pants or sweat pants. I use a comforter but no sheet, they just get all tangled. I use 3 pillows, one under my head, one under my belly and one to hug.

Gtky- I sleep with a tank top and sweat pants on and then have a fleece blanket on top. It's been -40C with the windchill here so I'm missing being able to use my heated blanket!
Hope you don't mind me joining in on the high risk group! I just found out my alpha fetaprotein is on the high end of normal, which puts me at a higher risk for preeclampsia, IUGR, and a couple other complications. Because of this I will now be monitored every 2 weeks and start daily kick counts at 24 weeks.
I'm just so glad I have my own doppler to check in on baby whenever I start to feel anxious or nervous about less movement!
Other than finding out about my high-ish AFP, my week has been good and pretty uneventful, which I'm more than fine with!
GTKY: I used to sleep in a tank and boy short underwear. Lately I've been so bloated at night I find comfort in my husband's tees rather than a tank.
We have a down comforter, no sheets!
I saw genetics today and she doesn't think anything is genetically wrong with our little guy to cause his intestinal issue but that it's more of a "random" thing that just happened. She did say I will be followed extra closely and will be referred to a pediatric surgeon before I deliver...which in the back of my mind, I knew, but hearing it made me cry afterwards ugh.
And I had a weekly BP check: 154/90 (on meds!) and with a nasty headache. I've been having swelling too in my legs and feet and hands but my OBs nurse said it's normal.
GTKY: I sleep in a huge shirt of hubby's and some shorts. Bra comes off like as soon as I get home from work! lol and we only use a heavy comforter on top and a regular old sheet to lay on. Two pillows for me. Hubby isn't working 3rd shift anymore so I can't have all FOUR pillows and I am sad. Haha
Edit because I can't read.

GTKY: I am a PJ girl in winter, nightie in summer. I wear a bra to bed usually. Don't know why, but always have. No socks though... Cannot sleep with socks on.
