Holiday Music

What holiday music (if any) is in your regular December rotation?  Anything your kiddos like especially?

I have a lot of MoTab, the Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer soundtrack, and a few pop renditions and originals (*NSYNC Home for the Holidays is still a fave...I'm not ashamed  :D).  Oh, and Cheech and Chong's Christmas Story.  That and MoTab/David Archuleta's "Angels from the Realms of Glory" are my favorites.  DS loves that last one, too.

Carrie Underwood has a great rendition of "Do You Hear What I Hear," but you can only buy it on iTunes if you buy the whole "Now That's What I Call Christmas" album it is on.  Bah.

Re: Holiday Music

  • This year I bought Pentatonix's new Christmas CD and I really like it. I also have a country Christmas CD with songs from different artists, Alan Jackson, John Berry, Kenny G, and Manheim Steamroller. Those last three are ones my mom always played while I was growing up, so I'm nostalgic about them :) I also have some TSO that I like to play when I'm in the mood.

  • Any Christmas song sung by Elvis Presley. And all the oldies from the 50s, 60s and 70s. My mom would play those old vinyl records when I was a kid. Hearing the songs now take me right back. Yeah, I'm old.

Blue Christmas is my absolute favorite

  • I listen to mostly Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, and that kind. I love old country Christmas, like Dolly Parton and Alabama. I listen to it all, in the car I skip around on all the Sirius Christmas stations
