Baby Monitor

So we have a Motorola baby monitor and it works fine, but we are thinking we would really prefer one that will allow us to watch from our cell phones. We have galaxies. My mom has an iPhone and we be watching LO when I return to work so really one that works with both platforms would be best but ultimately it must work with the Galaxy. Any suggestions?

    We use Drop Cam but it requires monitoring service.

    Eta: for real time audio /video. It's kinda complicated so you should read the details before deciding on this option.

    I'm currently testing (I write hardware reviews) a dlink WiFi baby monitor and I really like it. Set up was easy. You can direct connect if you're home or logon remotely to watch if you're away. It has a temperature sensor and can play some cute lullabies. There are apps for both android and ios or you watch from a web browser. It works in the background too so audio will stay on if you lock the phone. The picture is great and it auto switches between day and night mode.

    I think motorola makes something similar, but I haven't tried it.

    I'm looking for a new one too. Don't get the withings baby monitor-it sucks! We have had 2 break withing 2 months and their customer service sucks.

    We have Foscam cameras and use the TinyCams app.  The quality of the picture is outstanding and you can move the camera/zoom in and out from your phone.

    We had this and returned it to Amazon. Horrible delay and wouldn't work 10% of the time. We have a great internet connection so I'm quite sure that wasn't the problem.
