When I'm going on a long car trip in the summer, I make a big ol latte the day before and freeze it in an ice cube tray. I plunk the frozen latte cubes into a tumbler and by early afternoon they melt and I have a nice cold iced latte ready for drinkin
I don't like to touch the meat at the grocery store because I skeeve raw meat juice. So, I take the produce bags with me to the meat department and stick my hand in the bag (so then I have a bag glove) grab whatever meat I want, and pull the bag over the meat, without it ever touching my skin. Tie it up and in the cart it goes. No meat hands for me!!
I hate cutting up squash cause I am sure I will accidentally sever a finger.
Instead, I wash the squash and put the whole thing in the slow cooker with a couple of tablespoons of water and cover and cook on low for 6 hours. When it is done, I can cut threw it with a spoon. I simply scoop out the seeds and stuff into one bowl (for compost!) and the yummy squash into another and it's ready to serve.

They don't have bags at the meat department too?
Yes, they do, but they're not great at refilling. I take the produce ones just in case. The bag is not the tip. It's using it as a glove.
And they have sanitizing wipes, but again, refilling is an issue. Plus, I'd rather not touch the meat, at all, so I don't need sanitizer.
