Breastfeeding

Quick back to work question

I go back to work tomorrow and I work 3 12 hour night shifts. DD typically sleeps anywhere from 6-9 hours her first stretch. What should I tell DH to do about BM for her overnight feeding. If he takes it out before he goes to bed it will likely not be good when she wakes up. Should he try to feed it cold or should I tell him to set the alarm to warm it at like 2 or 3 so she doesn't have to wait when she wakes up? TIA.

Have him put a cup of water in the microwave for a couple minutes while he first hears baby wake.

Then he goes and gets baby.walks to the kitchen and puts the bottle of breastmilk into the cup of hot water.

change diaper and go get bottle and bottle should be the right temp.

If you have a keurig, that is a quick source of hot water for heating a bottle.  Just don't put a K-cup in.
