How far along are you? 13+4days
How are your symptoms? Alright, I've really turned the corner with nausea and HAD been getting better with energy, but that's started to dwindle again. I also have really terrible facial skin irritation lately. I LOVE makeup and typically am like, full glitz glam every day. Now, I'm lucky if I can pull off two days a week without my skin getting super dry and irritated. :(
Rants/Raves? Just the skin issues and the decreased libido. But I have a scheduled boom session tonight, so muahahahaha. Sadly, I have to commit or else I just really won't want to at all and fall asleep. So sad.
Upcoming appointments? Monday with my regular OB
Any major milestones or major events? Well, I hit my annual sales goal today. We have until Dec 31st to make it, so I can chill most of December. That's NEVER happened to me.Now I can kinda just...count bonus money until the end of the year, which rocks. I usually hit after Christmas and most of my December is spent freaking out and watching orders come in.
GTKY: Do you have any favorite holiday traditions? Well, it's definitely changed over the years as I've moved out of my parent's house, into my own, my parents moved to Toronto and WE host Christmas now...
No matter what, we always serve Coquilles St.Jacques (a mushroom/white wine/scallop dish over rice) and Prime Rib for Christmas dinner and listen to the GREATEST Christmas Album of all time: Amy Grant - Home for Christmas circa 1992. Nothing holds a candle to it, in my opinion. I really love Christmas, so I like to get the music out early, and decorate, too. DH isn't as big of a Christmas fan as I am. I guess I just have very fond memories of Christmas through my life.

Baby #1 for Allie and Mike!

  • Hey mamas, hope y'all are doing well!

    How far along are you?
    13+1!

    How are your symptoms?
Not bad at all- aside from a giant blump, I don't actually feel that pregnant (not complaining!)

    Rants/Raves?
I love my fetal doppler- it just gives me some peace to have access to him or her

    Upcoming appointments?
    Next Thursday, monthly check up

Any major milestones or major events?
Every day at this point is a major milestone... Looking forward to anatomy scan in January

GTKY: Do you have any favorite holiday traditions?
Shrimp creole at my parents and wandering in the woods with my Dad. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer this year so I'm really looking forward to spending the extra time with him. My DH and I have yet to really have our own traditions and our families are very different but I'm sure the LO will help us create some new traditions of our own
  • Good evening lovelies.
How far along are you? 12 tomorrow.
How are your symptoms? Maybe better... getting over stomach flu which totally messed with my blood sugar levels but getting back on track. Nausea is slightly better I think though.
    Rants/Raves? Life is good.
Upcoming appointments? 13 weeks... earliest they could do. Looking forward to being able to tell our folks if everything is okay.
Any major milestones or major events? Nope!
GTKY: Do you have any favorite holiday traditions? Too many to list... a must is watching National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I know I'm not alone in that. ;)

  • Not much to report!

How far along are you? 14 wks 1 day
How are your symptoms? Just tired mostly...and starting to have very vivid dreams
Rants/Raves? Got our holiday announcement cards in and I'm super excited to send them out!
Upcoming appointments? I have another blood test in a few weeks, but not seeing my doctor again until the end of the month
Any major milestones or major events? I think I'm starting to get a tiny bump...ordered some maternity pants on cyber Monday to prepare!
GTKY: Do you have any favorite holiday traditions? Lots of movies I watch every year....I also like seeing a holiday show. This year I'm going with my mom and sister to the nutcracker in Lincoln center in NYC.
  • How far along are you? 13+3

How are your symptoms? Blood pressure low, Dr is talking about putting me on driving suspension this pregnancy. He thinks with how low it's getting I could start passing out.

Rants/Raves? Finals are almost finished! Just biology and chemistry left
  • How far along are you? 14W1d

How are your symptoms? Random nausea (better than the puking) and terrible headaches. Fatigue is still present.

Rants/Raves? We are going away this weekend without DD. I love having the time with DH - but I miss DD a ton. I guess this is both a rant and a rave.

Upcoming appointments? December 22 for my 16 week checkup.

Any major milestones or major events?Should be getting our verifi results back today or Monday. I am really looking
    forward to that.

GTKY: Do you have any favorite holiday traditions? My dad and I watch Tombstone around Christmas every year. I'm not sure how it started, but we love it. And on Christmas Eve
my family does an all-day - appetizer grazing - Christmas shirt wearing, -
[play in the snow event. It is my FAVORITE!

How are your symptoms? Not too terrible, nausea is making a slight reappearance & exhaustion is kicking my ass, but all good otherwise.
Rants/Raves? My doppler has really been a life saver. I'm so glad that I can check on things when PgAL brain kicks in.
Upcoming appointments? Tuesday is my first MFM appointment
Any major milestones or major events? I've gone 10 whole days without bleeding! That's a record for this pregnancy.
GTKY: Do you have any favorite holiday traditions? It depends on where we spend Christmas. It'll be different this year since we moved. When we would come to visit my family for Christmas, my brother, sister, husband & I would all sleep at my mom's Christmas Eve. We'd normally watch the Grinch or Christmas Vacation then crash. We'd wake up in the morning to the smell of lost bread & quiche, open gifts & then head to one of my relatives for Christmas dinner which is always spaghetti, meatballs & roast. If we were with my ILs, then I'd make lost bread & quiche for MH & I before heading to some relatives. I'd spend the day cooking with my FIL & MH would watch A Christmas Story with the rest of the family.
This year, it looks like we'll be going to each other's houses to decorate trees together, but I think that's going to be about it. I'll be about a week past my cerclage & probably on bed rest Christmas day :(
