Hello! I'm new to the bump (I hope I'm posting this on the right board) and would like to finally introduce myself! I've been lurking around for the past few days and felt it was time to finally become active! I'm not an expert at all the lingo but I'm a quick learner so please bear with me. I've been married to my DH (see I'm working on it

) for 2 years and we just started TTC last month. No luck so far! It's much harder than I thought (no pun intended.) I was disappointed when I took a pregnancy test and got a BFN because...well it seems to happen so easily for everyone else. That's why I was so happy to come across the bump and discover this lovely community of people. I haven't become active until now but I already feel much less alone! I hope this can be a valuable resource for myself and I can be a source of support for others!
Re: Intro!
Have you checked out our Newbie Blog, linked at the top of the page? It has a lot of great TTC information for people both new and old to the game.

Hey! I have checked out the Newbie Blog and I signed up for FF and plan to start charting on CD1. However, this might be a silly question and I apologize if so, but can I use a regular thermometer for measuring BBT? Thanks for much for the advice!I actually tried to read the "READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST" post but it says its closed. :-<
Am I missing something? Thank you so much for being so welcoming.
You can still click on, and read, this post. You just cannot add comments to it.

Thanks everyone! I realize what I was doing wrong (oops) and I found most of the answers to my questions on FF but thank you so much for all the help! I can't wait to start charting!

Welcome. I know that it can appear that conceiving is easy for many, but I think it only seems this way because women don't discuss their struggles openly. I hope that you get your BFP soon.
