Hello all! Just looking for some advice/tips on how you all remain calm and patient while TTC. This is only my 4th month of TTC#2, but I'm already starting to feel those familiar feelings of frustration and sadness I felt when we were trying for our first (it took us 6 months to conceive her). I love my DD so much and am trying to push thoughts of baby #2 out of my mind so I can just enjoy this wonderful time with her (she's 19 mo and it's such a fun age!). Thank you for any advice you might have!

Re: Trying to Remain Calm While TTC
Charting my basal body temperature (BBT) to confirm ovulation really works wonders for my piece of mind. Knowing if I even have a chance of conceiving each cycle (and the bonus of knowing when to expect my period!) makes me feel more in control of TTC.
Check out our Newbie Blog and FertilityFriend if you want to learn more about this process -- both sites are great TTC resources and have a lot of eye-opening information that sex-ed never taught us.
Other than that, I enjoy my life as it is, and don't focus on any one singular aspect -- including TTC. There's only so much I can do (and I'm doing it!), so why continue to agonize when I've got nothing more to do but wait?
Good luck.
