Hello everyone! I am new to this blog, I was here for my first and now I'm back I am currently in nursing school and just found out I am due July 11,2015! Any other moms in nursing school or college??
I am a RN that works full-time and also has a part-time job and is finishing up my Masters in May. I am glad that I will be done with school before the baby comes
I'm currently in school for my Masters of Public Affairs with a concentration in Nonprofit Management. Trying to figure out how to best arrange my schedule for time off when baby comes. I might take off all summer/fall and start again next January. Depends how this pregnancy progresses. I also work full time, sit part time on a nonprofit committee and have 2 boys (and a husband) at home.

Teaching first grade full time, and attending graduate school for my masters, but I am done with that part in ONE MORE WEEK.... If I get off my butt and finish my work in time to graduate :-/
Good luck, such a hard balance especially when you're not feeling great!

Finishing up pre-req for nursing school. Is anyone else as concerned as I am about walking around pregnant as everyone watches?? I'm kind of paranoid about it.
I'm a full-time nurse who's also pursing a graduate degree in nursing full-time. The thought of juggling baby, work, and school does worry me, but I'm sure we'll figure out a way to make it work. Good luck to all you other moms-to-be!
I'm going part-time for my clinical doctorate in Occupational therapy, while working full time and serving as a teaching assistant!! I think I've gotta start eliminating some things after next semester, thats for sure. Is anyone planning on taking the semester off which you are due? Or the following semester? Not sure what to do yet.
I have three classes left for my pre requisites for nursing school, but my program is supposed to start July 14, and I'm due the 21st, so I'll be putting that off a bit more haha
I'm in nursing school too!! Soo exhausting the way it is, plus being pregnant, plus a two year old at home too! I'm due the 8th and will graduate in May so I'm hoping to take my nclex in June before baby I think. :-)
Im not now, but I just graduated in May (YAY!) after a long part time college career and full time job. I was pregnant with DD while in school and working full time and just took off the fall semester when she was born in October. I swore I was going to graduate before trying for another one. It was tough but worth it.
I'm a full time student, president of the SGA, and travel an hour and a half each way to school on top of being a mom and wife. It is exhausting. People having been asking me if I'm ok. About 3 students a day say they don't want to get pregnant because of me because apparently I do not have resting bitch face syndrome I have resting zombie face syndrome. I was pregnant and in school the last time but that was back in the good ole days when all I took were survey classes now I'm in 300 and 400 level classes and required to read so much. The readings actually pt me to sleep. I fell asleep in the student lounge! I woke up feeling like I should be embarrassed but I'm too tired to care. I graduate in May and will be glad next week when the semester ends. I know I'll have for more energy next semester.
I am glad to here I am not the only one! I just started nursing school in August and will not graduate until may 2016, so this baby will be born right in the middle of it all! But I am 24 and have been in school way to long not to finish with a degree! I have a ton of support from my husband and his family (mine too but they just live 6 hours away )
I'm working on my pre-med classes. Hoping to start medical school in 2016. I'm nervous but excited. Nervous because I will be going from my online classes (I was taking those to get the easy things out of the way) to classes that require lab hours and are difficult while I'm in my second and third trimester. Should be interesting but it will be worth it in the end with the support of my husband we will get passed this. Good luck ladies.
Sooo what I'm seeing is that this thread is like 87% nursing students! Lol how awesome is that?
I'm in school right now for psychology/counseling. My stepsons mother is an addict and not in his life at the moment, and helping him navigate through being abandoned by a parent has opened my eyes to my life's goal. I want to counsel kids going through rough times. I'm in my 3rd semester, taking between 2 and 3 classes a semester. I'll be around halfway done when the baby comes, and then I'll take the summer (and maybe fall) off and then resume. Luckily I'm all online so I can go at my own pace. Its been a blessing with the nausea not having to force myself out of bed at 7am
Married 3.10.13
Finally pregnant after 20 months of trying, and 3 doses of Clomid!
10 year old step son who is excited to be a big brother!
I'm part way getting my bachelors in communication. I did my diploma in public relations, found it was impossible to find a job and went back for my bachelors. I still have 2 years left to go - I'm not sure if I will take a full year off or just a semester.
