INTRO - or BIO? ;)

I have only been a member for a short while, but have been reading for a long time (over a year), though I wasn't able to comment before. My doctor said that I am suffering from unexplained 2ndary IF - yet I do have 2 children. I have 2 daughters 14 and 7 to a previous marriage that ended outside of my control. My current husband also has 2 sons from a previous marriage that ended outside of his control. I try to stay positive and think everything happens for a reason (except the IF and reoccurent mc???), and am so glad he and I found each other and our blended family loves each other and fits together well. We have been ttc the past 2 years, with no avail, and 2 miscarriages. I've had 3 different doctors that have all given me conflicting info, and basically say all our tests are normal and it will happen when it happens. I'm also dealing with both of our families saying we already have children and shouldn't be upset, and let it go. We are thankful for our current family no doubt. But its hard going day to day feeling like you are failing at something you once achieved. After the second miscarriage, I was bitter and depressed, and have since taken a lighter approach and joke a lot to cope (and also took the plunge to become a member and talk about it instead of just reading about it lol). Nice to meet you all, and actually be able to communicate with you going forward

Also - sort of embarrassed to ask b/c my job is on a computer all day ever day lol, and considered myself savvy , until challenged with how to make a signature here? I went under tools, my prof, my account etc. and cant figure it out??

Have you just been seeing your OB or have you been seeing an RE? I'd suggest seeing an RE if you aren't already.

I actually have an apt with my family doctor this Fri to get ref to an RE (not sure if that's due to my insurance or what). But been through 3 gynos within the past 2 yrs, and I was actually referred to the most recent by my last due to the IF - whats funny is I've never been professionally ref to an RE - only knew to request b/c of these threads! Lol and the most recent gyno just prescribed me provera for days 1-10 bc he said it would boost my chances for a viable pregnancy (this is on another convo I started as well). Of course from reading I found out that's completely wrong. We all know the TTC is frustrating enough, and to be steered wrong by doctors just makes it worse. So heres to hoping the RE is more understanding and gives better direction

I would definitely look for an RE! And good for you for standing up for yourself and being your own advocate! Welcome to the board! I hope your stay here is short! As for the signature, there are really good instructions on the TTC forum in the Newbie Blog. It will be at the top of the page in all caps. It has some great general info as well in there!
