We finally bought a new washing machine. Gets delivered next Monday. I wonder if I can hold out on laundry until then.
The only other good deal I stumbled on Thursday was a 25% off shoes code for Amazon and 10% ebates. I got James these Cowboy boots for under $20, today they are $63.
We got Maya the Sofia the First Royal Prep Academy on Amazon for $40 when it's normally $80. Now I'm searching for a similar deal for all the little characters that go with it. They are like $40 for 8 little plastic dolls. This stuff is crazy over-priced!
ETA: the boots, LOVE!

My mom just told me she is sending that to L. I don't really want it in, so I think it will get held onto for a few months until she is over some of the smaller Christmas gifts.

I didn't really plan on getting it, but Maya is really into Sofia and the only playhouse thing they have is a Sesame Street one that they fight over. My mom got her the Sofia family and they play with them a lot, so I think this will be a hit and with the cheaper price, I figured it would be good. Maya's almost 4 though. It has lots of little furniture and stuff to wreck for a two year old. I'm sure Ethan will do some damage to this one.
Staples has LeapFrog stuff 40% off, but it appears to be in store only. I had to return something and they gave me store credit. I ended up buying Ethan a Leap Reader and some of the stuff to go with it. I'm happy to see the total was $30 less than if I had bought it on Amazon, plus I had $25 store credit.
Since I was done shopping for the boys, I now need to find something else to get Sean.

Let me know how he likes the reader. I have been eyeing it for James for awhile.
Wayfair sent me a 15% off coupon that expires 12/5, so I'll finally order my bed and bench. YAY!
We went to furniture stores on BF and bought a new sofa and oversized chair! 60s couch can GTFO of my living room! We've had the orange wonder in the living room for over a year I think, and I've gone from thinking it's hilarious to being embarrassed of it.
We also bought a table, new tv, and got all the ikea shit out of the living room. I am actually liking my house again! It motivated me to haul a truck load of crap to goodwill.
I'm debating buying Winn a full size headboard, vanity, and night stand because they are adorable and cheap on target.com
Thoughts? The three would cost me $50 more in teal vs white. I'm a bit torn, but I typically like white furniture for little gals. Vanity $140 ($200 blue), headboard $140, night stand $100. Worth it? I drool over the one at Land of Nod, but the price is crazy.

If you want to save a little money by doing some work yourself, I'm sure you can find a Jenny Lind bed on Craigslist and paint it. But otherwise, yes very cute. I'd mix up the color. Vanity and nightstand one and headboard the other, something like that.

Brody has it and loves playing with it. Like anything, he goes in phases, but he definitely learns from it. He prefers the reading part over the writing, but that's just him in general.
Thanks @PenelopePond I may go back to the a Disney store and look. My mom got her Sofia's family, so the other characters are what I need. They have one set that has Minimus the horse; that may be a winner.
Any ideas on where to purchase a non-breakable mirror? I want to put one on the side of the kids' dress-up cabinet for Christmas, and I don't want something that they could potentially knock off and be standing in a million shards of glass.
Guys, I just found the Sofia the First set for $17 at K-Mart! They won't ship to NJ (???) but they are available for store pick up near my MIL in NY. So I texted her and she's going to pick them up for me and hold them until we visit. Yay!
Today I went back to Staples to get the last couple of books for the Leap Reader that I didn't buy the other day. I picked up three of them expecting them to be about $8 each. I get to the register, and they were $1.20 each! Apparently they were on clearance but not marked. I'm glad I went back for them.
Just so we're clear, if my kids got $$ for their birthday and I saved it and want to use it to buy them something for Christmas, that's allowed, right?

STAGE MOM, spending your kids' hard earned money!! J/K, spending their money on them is totally acceptable.

As long as you use it for them, I think it's fine.

I returned a couple of gifts L got for her birthday and just used it on other things for her.

Swap money for gift cards, and that's exactly what I did to get most of the kids' toys.

Stride Rite is having a good sale today, but pickings are slim.
