My husband and I have been trying for a few months to conceive. It would be our first kiddo. I'm really excited about it. We are both 32 so on the older side for a first kid, but we're SO ready!
The first couple months were just having as much fun as possible practicing. We recently started paying more attention to ovulation times. I bought a Clearblue Easy fertility monitor. I read the instructions several times. I have tried to test at the exact same time everyday first thing in the morning, even though it says there is a 6 hour window to test. I bought a 30 pack of test sticks and have made sure to use from all the same batch. I have also made sure there was at least 3 seconds of "sampling" on each stick.
The instructions say there are only a few days a month that will appear as "high" and one or 2 that will show as "peak". I have now show "high" fertility for 16 ish days in a row. I never had a single "peak" day. My next cycle should start in a few days. While I like the idea of being the most fertile ovulating woman on the planet, I highly doubt I have that many days with high LH.
Has anyone had this kind of issue? Since it the first month I've been using it, is it just a matter of the monitor still learning my cycle?

No, you are not the most ovulating woman on the planet because that's not a thing and doesn't make sense.
I have no idea how digital OPKs work.
Son: Jackson, 11/02/06, stillborn due to PPROM and IUGR. Over the next ten years we had 9 miscarriages from 8-14 weeks. On May 18, 2016 my daughter, Ridley, was born. We're OADNBC.
I use the wondfo OPKs and also chart and temp using a BBT.. As PP have said, it's a good idea to start temping/charting in order to pinpoint ovulation.
32 is not old. Or even on the older side. But good luck! You should read up on fertility so you can understand ovulation better. A great book is Taking Charge of Your Fertility.
The reason you're most likely getting so many high days, IF you have already ovulated, is that you missed your LH surge. The monitor will keep asking for sticks until you get a peak, so if you missed it, it still thinks you haven't ovulated yet. Are you using FMU? That could make a difference.
I had the opposite problem when I first started using the CBEFM. I would go straight to peak without any high days. It does take a few cycles to understand what your hormone levels.
I will also second (or third/fourth/fifth) what PPs have said. Start temping - then you'd know if/when ovulation actually happened and you can stop using the monitor.

Thank you everyone. Sorry I can't respond directly to everyone...
I have signed up for Fertility Friend. My charts and calendars are not nearly as in depth as some of the examples I saw! But every month (been doing FF for about 3 months) it's gotten more detailed.
I do realize I only ovulate once a cycle, I really wish some one would invent a "sarcasm" font! I was just worried my cycle may be really messed up from years of various forms of BC. But I think it just needs to learn my cycle.
I will read through the Newbie blog.
As far as temping, does any one recommend a basal thermometer? I've read so many reviews and they are really hit or miss if people like them. I got the CBEFM because I had FSA use it or lose it money left over. I thought it would be and easy accurate way to track ovulation
