Hi ladies.

I recognize some of you from SAIF - but am hoping I can join you guys. My story is pretty much in my siggy, but to sum it up. DX - MFI, First IVF cycle was a great success. Great response, pregnant from an SET and five frosties. We went back to the RE in August to start the process for an FET/sibling.  Geared up (while not telling anyone IRL) for a transfer in November. Showed up on FET day and were told that there was an error in the lab. When the embryologist took out the container to retrieve our frosty she forgot to put the straws back. Just like that we lost all of our frosties. We went ahead with the FET and it was a BFN.

My clinic is picking up the tab for a fresh cycle (how nice of them......sarcasm)..... which I started Friday. I had a great baseline but after 4 days of stims my E2 was not even at 100. This has really sent me into an emotional tailspin, which is why I am here. I need all of the support I can get :(

IF is so nasty and I truly hate that we're all dealing with it.

12/25 - Santa tells us "IT'S A GIRL!" EDD - April 4th

    I'm so sorry about the embryos--I would be homicidal if that happened.

    April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
    August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    What's really frustrating about the embryo's is the lack of sympathy from my RE's office. I mean, it is very nice that you are not making me pay for my cycle, but that's expected. I feel like I should be getting a little more hand holding since a fresh cycle is NOT what I ever expected to do again. Instead I don't feel that they are being proactive enough with me and really don't feel that they care enough about my success as they should. It's SO frustrating.

    WTF!!  I am so sorry that happened.  I would be livid, and yes they should be picking up the tab and then some.

    I hope your stay here is short.

    Welcome and good luck. I would have been crazy if that happened to my embryos. They should definitely pick up the tab and more!

    3/26/15 transferred one 8 cell grade 4 embryo and one 6 cell grade 3 embryo = slow rising betas for 2+ weeks = ectopic MTX shot 4/29/15
    Repeat c-scar surgery June 2015
    2nd and last IVF cycle August 2015, stimmed for 12 days, 2 egg retrieved, both mature and both fertilized.  Transferred both 8-cell embryos on Day 3, beta 9/5/15 = BFFN
    MOVING TO ADOPTION!

    How horrible! I'm so very sorry! I hope you have a short stay and hope the RE's office gets a bit more sympathetic/supportive for you.  Jeez...it's the least they can do!

    Thanks ladies! I triggered last night for an ER tomorrow. Totally terrified. I would like to go back to my first IVF - when I was naive.
