Intro - or bio? ;)

Hello everyone. I read through the rules after posting a question lol. I have only been a member for a short while, but have been reading for a long time (over a year), so am already familiar with some of you, though I wasn't able to comment before. My doctor said that I am suffering from unexplained 2ndary IF - yet I do have 2 children. I didn't see a board for 3dary IF lol. I have 2 daughters 14 and 7 to a previous marriage that ended outside of my control. My current husband also has 2 sons from a previous marriage that ended outside of his control. I try to stay positive and think everything happens for a reason (except the IF and reoccurent mc???), and am so glad he and I found each other and our blended family loves each other and fits together well. We have been ttc the past 2 years, with no avail, and 2 miscarriages. I've had 3 different doctors that have all given me conflicting info, and basically say all our tests are normal and it will happen when it happens. I'm also dealing with both of our families saying we already have children and shouldn't be upset, and let it go. We are thankful for our current family no doubt. But its hard going day to day feeling like you are failing at something you once achieved. After the second miscarriage, I was bitter and depressed, and have since taken a lighter approach and joke a lot to cope (and also took the plunge to become a member and talk about it instead of just reading about it lol). Nice to meet you all, and actually be able to communicate with you going forward :)))))))

    Welcome, and I'm sorry for your losses.  You might also want to check out the Trouble TTC a Sibling board.  Most people here are doing IUI or IVF, so they may be more at your stage of things.

    December 2014: IVF #1.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  9R, 9M, 9F.  3 5-day blasts transferred 12/15. BFFN.
    April 2015: IVF #2.  Microdose Lupron protocol.  16R, 15M, 12F. Transferred 2 5-day blasts 4/12 and froze 4--BFP!  M/C 5/25/15
    August 2015: IVF #3.  14R, 13M, 11F.  Froze 5 blasts for CCS testing.  3 normals.  FET planned for 10/2015.

    Welcome!  I am sorry for your losses and your doctors apparent nonchalant attitude towards things.  Have you started seeing a RE yet?  You might get more support from a specialist.

    Hi! I agree this board might not be the best fit for you, unless you are planning IUI or IVF in the immediate future? I would go ahead and do an intro on 3TAS 






    FWIW we were Unexplained 2IF for a long time, and just recently got DX as tubal factor IF. Hope you can get some solid answers soon, an unexplained DX is so frustrating.

    OK thanks guys I will intro there as well. I noticed  a lot of posts on the IUI and IVF and wasn't sure. I have ant apt to get referred to an RE this week. Isnt it amazing how many appointments and different doctors it takes to get to even get half an answer? Thanks again :)
