Has anyone else encountered this??

Hi lovely ladies! So I went to see my little bean for the first time today...woohoo! Officially 7 weeks today! Everything looked okay...heartbeat was 121 (which I thought was on the lower side but doc didnt seem curious about it).
What I was a little heartbroken over was when our doc came back into the room and told us that the baby was surrounded by some blood in the sac and they needed to keep a close eye on everything. She is having me come back next week to do another ultrasound. Fingers crossed that the blood is gone and not more has formed. I could tell she was trying to keep me from getting too nervous but that is literally impossible for me! Has anyone else experienced this?!
Just need some peace of mind right now......

    Your sure it's in the sac and not surrounding it? I'm not say doc was wrong, I only have experience with it being around the sac! Mine was huge at 4 weeks, now 7 weeks and it's gone! Good luck!

    I had this at my scan too only as the above poster said it is on the outside of the sac, hopefully it goes away!
