Anyone from Florida? I will be staying at South Seas Island Resort in Captiva Island in February for my sisters wedding. I am just curious if anyone has been there :)

    I live in Florida, but on the panhandle. So no help there, sorry :-/ But I do hear it's pretty nice and at least during winter in Florida it still hits the 70's so you won't have to worry much about snow ;-)

    You should love that! DH and I went on a cruise leaving out of Tampa for Valentine's Day a few years ago and it was almost 80 degrees. I haven't been to the specific location you're going, but we vacation to Florida a lot since we're in Georgia.

    Yes she is using a planner. I am super excited to get away but I wish there would have been more time to plan. She decided last week she was getting married there in Feb so we dont even have flights booked yet :( im the maid of honor and we dont even have dresses yet.

    Oh my- well a good planner will help her get things done quickly and correctly :) Doesn't happen to be Kelly McWilliams is it? She's amaaaazing and does weddings there

    My SIL is getting married this summer. They are thinking Maine but if much rather head south!

    Ohio. I've never been to New England so I'll still be excited to go but we love FL. I actually have 4 weddings to attend next summer and 2 are destination. Not going to be fun if we are preggo again! Yikes. February will be an awesome time for a FL wedding! I'm sure you'll be more than ready to get out of the cold and snow by then!

    Hey, Floridian here! I actually did a photo shoot for Larson Boats in Captiva Island. I probably stayed at the same resort. It was years ago so I can't quite remember. It's very nice. Just minutes from the beach. I think you'll love it.

    Yes she originally was talking about next fall/winter and I was bummed because I didn't want to be pregnant for her wedding because I was pregnant for mine. I am happy she chose February. She just had a miscarriage and they are going to start ttc after the wedding and she doesn't know but im going to start ttc in April or May :)
