Fist turning purple

My lo is 6 weeks. I have noticed his hands turn purple when eating. It's like he clinch his hands so much or when cold but we keep him covered. Not sure if I should be concerned.

    my LO's palms and bottom of feet turn purple every now and then.  asked her pediatrician about it at last appointment.  its normal...babies don't have great circulation.  be concerned if other body parts besides palms and feet turn blue/purple.
