Hi ladies,
Hope everyone's doing well and has a great Thanksgiving! I'm 25 weeks today. I didn't think I'd be back to the dr's until mid-December; however, I fell leaving work last week. I did a face plant while crossing the street, falling flat on my stomach and couldn't catch myself. God job! I immediately called me OB and he had me come in to be monitored for a few hours. Baby boy's heartbeat was fine, no contractions and everything looked ok on the u/s. Apparently, I can do Zumba with no issues (went again last night.. FUN!), but can't cross the street. I also confimed that as long as everything looks ok, I can fly up until 34 weeks, which is great because I'm flying to see Garth Brooks at 33 1/2 weeks.

QOTW: I can't get enough homemade stuffing, cranberry sauce and rolls and my favorite pie is pumpkin! I can't wait for tomorrow! Hope I'm feeling good to eat it all.

@mrs.willie - glad everything is ok, but that would be scary!

AFM, 28w tomorrow with my two munchkins! I'm stoked that at last week's u/s (exactly 27w) cervical length was a solid 3.1, both babies are measuring great (60th percentile) - baby boy is about 2.3lbs and baby girl is 2.16lbs! That makes me a very happy mama! I've been getting more uncomfy, the feet/hand swelling has started, my hips are still killing me and a good night sleep feels like a decent memory, haha, but overall, I'd still say we're doing pretty well over here!

Happy Thanksgiving to all those celebrating this week, this Canuck is jealous and really craving a second Thanksgiving dinner!! My favourite food is mashed potatoes, and pie wise, lemon meringue

This is my last 2nd tri check-in! That is unreal! 27w3d and feeling good! I thought I could not get any hungrier, but somehow, I am. I went to my brother's birthday dinner last night and ate 1/3 of his (fairly small, I swear) cake. Oops. My glucose challenge test is next week, and I'm a little nervous about it (awesome juxtaposition between my eating habits and potential medical consequences...). Otherwise, things are going great!

QOTW: I live for stuffing!! I could do without pie, crusts just aren't interesting to me, so I'm making an apple crumble with toffee syrup tomorrow.

Hello! Still not much new with me other than more heartburn and RLP pains. It's a running joke at the office now that every every time I sneeze, it is followed by a cry of pain. I even puked from heartburn the other day, which worries me about how much worse it'll get as time goes on...but it's still WAY better than having MS all day.

Our a/s is next Tuesday, and I can't wait!!!

QOTW: My favorite dish is sweet potato casserole with marshmallows on top. I'm not a big pie fan...maybe b/c I grew up in Puerto Rico, but I'm used to always having pumpkin flan with Thanksgiving. It's a close second behind the sweet potato for my favorite.

A/S on Monday looked good and we a having another little girl

I'm very excited their birthdays will be so close....no need for more clothes! Yay hand-me-downs! My heartburn comes and goes during the day, but wow, it gets bad! @gsancho‌ I'm having the almost throw ups from it too

DH was able to feel baby a few days ago; she's very busy at night, just like her sister was!

QOTW: stuffing! I love stuffing! Pumpkin pie is usually my fav, but I'm making my own apple pie, so we shall see which turns out better!

27wks so guess this is also my last check in! Nothing much going on except I'm still coughing haha. I'm sure you girls are tired of me saying this! Insomnia has hit me. Sucks. Thankful to be pg but I can't deal with this all of these changes lately. I did buy a support belt. Not comfy at all. Grumpy as hell!!

On a good note I think I picked our paint for nursery

QOTW: I can live without Thanksgiving food but mashed potatoes. Love apple pie since I'm not a fan of anything pumpkin. I'm pathetic!!

@jaytee16 - I know! It didn't hit me until I typed my post. Then I freaked out about time moving too quickly. And I agree- have a 2nd Thanksgiving

@sunshinedaisies000 - I felt like that early in 2nd tri too... I just didn't feel pregnant anymore and it was worrisome. Just try your best not to worry.

@gsancho I have horrible heartburn too... and there's science to back up the heartburn=hair theory, weirdly enough!

23 weeks today, STILL sick with a sinus thing and finally booked a physio/massage appt for my pinched something in my lower back so fingers crossed that helps. 27 week growth u/s is booked for Christmas Eve (due to 2 vessel cord) and assuming my 28 week 2 hr GD test will be the week of New Years, so yay to not being a diabetic over Christmas. QOTW: I love stuffing, but my Oma's (meat) stuffing not that mushy bread/fruit stuffing. I also love me some pecan pie

Nothing much new here! 17w1d here...getting a noticeable bump! Headaches still come and go but learning how to live with it! Super excited for our next u/s on the 10th!

QOTW: I can't pick a favorite...I LITERALLY love all classic Thanksgiving food! including cranberry sauce! yum!!

Hello ladies! Also freaked out about this being my last 2nd tri check in, 27w 6d today! Nursery is all painted and now I have to get on building furniture. Shower is next weekend, and I have started some serious nesting, so I'll be doing a bunch of organizing in the next few weeks, I'm sure.
QOTW: Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday and I pretty much love all of it! Stuffing, green bean casserole & cranberry sauce! YUMMM! Thank goodness for maternity pants tomorrow, lol! I am all about everything pumpkin...definitely my favorite pie. Though, by request, I have a pumpkin cheesecake in the oven as we speak. Happy Thanksgiving, ladies...I know we all have sooo much to be thankful for!

28 weeks tomorrow so this is my last check in too. My shower was last weekend and it was wonderful. I felt very loved. The good part about being team green is all the items I got off my registry instead of a ton of clothes. It has made things really real putting everything away in the nursery.
QOTW: I love our family tradition of horseradish mashed potatoes.

Hi ladies! Happy Thanksgiving!

Nothing interesting here--although at 15 weeks, 5 days, I'm sad to say that i still have morning sickness! But thankfully, it's subsided to the point that the unison/B6 mostly keeps it at bay. Still dealing with bloating--DH not helping by referring to the part of my stomach that's the uterus/baby and the part that's "distended" lol! My next appointment is Dec. 16 (a/s), so obviously I'm getting increasingly nervous as it approaches…. We didn't do any genetic or NT testing earlier.

gsancho - I can relate to the sneezes! I actually texted DH to ask if sneezing hurts baby because I let out a huge sneeze yesterday that left me gasping at some pain in my side. It's like I pull a muscle each time I sneeze!

QOTW: Hmm… I love the yummy veggie sides. I don't like sweet things that should be savory so not a fan of yams or sweet potatoes that are made with sugar/marshmallows, but I love roasted/savory green beans, mushrooms, and brussel sprouts! I love pies, but my favorite is pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving; sounds like many of you agree!

Hi ladies!!
Wishing everyone a very happy thanksgiving! I think we finally found an OB that we like so I am very happy about that. We were going to have the MFM deliver- but he's kinda odd. anyway, he already had me put in my maternity leave paperwork so he is good for something. Everything with the baby is going great. DH is making huge progress in the nursery. I will start my registry this Saturday. (Thanks to all who replied last week)
QOTW: I love my moms stuffing recipe (just didn't have the energy to make it this year) and my favorite pie?? Peanut butter cream in an Oreo crust

Hello - happy thanksgiving leftover weekend!
I'm 18w2d today. Last week, I had a scary slip down the stairs, but was lucky to land on my butt/back. I had an OB appointment on Wednesday, and she decided to do an u/s because of the fall - and all was well. (Large sigh of relief).
Our a/s is next week, and I'm looking forward to finding out the sexes of both babies.

QOTW: Can I say the turkey, mashed potatoes, homemade cranberry sauce and Brussels sprouts are all my favorite? And pies? Yes, please. Pumpkin (Libby's recipe) and my mom's apple pie are two of my favorite things about thanksgiving.
And, guess what, ladies? I'm doing the whole thing again tomorrow, hosting my in-laws. Thank god for maternity pants! I don't know how I'd make it through without an elastic waistband.

Hi Ladies! Post and run here, as I'm pathetically behind on all threads, to say nothing about the rest of my life. You can mark me as team pink, btw, although that scan was a couple of weeks ago. Only new thing here is that I went from never being sure about feeling baby to basically feeling her dancing a jig all the time. It really is the CRAZIEST feeling! We also did our reveal to families with a cute onsie that said "Grandma's little girl."

@gsancho sorry about the heartburn. My reflux was awful with DS and this time around. I hope it gets better for you. @sunshinedaisies000 I heard that too about the full head of hair, but DS had a tiny bit of hair when he was born and was still bald at 1. He had his first haircut just after he turned 2. I'm pretty sure this one will probably be a baldy too. Hehe.

Hello all. First posting here in 2nd Tri. 15 weeks today, Monday turnovers makes the counting so much easier. EDD is 5/25 for my boy.

The only real change is the wrist pain. I've always had carpel tunnel and tendinitis which I can flare up with lots of activity. Well, apparently sleeping has become enough activity and I have to sleep with my braces on all the time now. It stinks cause they get so warm but it's better than waking up several times because you can't feel your hands anymore. Seems I missed all the normal symptoms and went for the odd ones. The nose is still giving me troubles too. None of this is really unmanageable just annoying.

I hope everyone else does well on their glucose tests as I fully expect to fail with the carb heavy diet they want me to have for three days.

@gsancho - I've taken to stopping whatever I'm doing to scrunch up before I sneeze, I find the ligament doesn't pull as far if your balled up some. It's helped a little. Looks weird to other people but it does help.

QOTW - Oddly spinach and there's the sage stuffing are my favorite. Pumpkin pie for me as I save it for Thanksgiving and Christmas only. I stay away from all things pumpkin to not burn out before we get to it too.

16 weeks 4 days over here and feeling ok. Starting to not feel so tired every single day lol although it varies! I was in bed by 6 last night but I'm awake at almost 9:30 tonight! Still feeling bloating mostly every day and headaches on occasion. Nothing too bad! Still not showing too much, which is disappointing! Still able to wear my regular pants but some days I do maternity depending on how bloated I feel. I'm down 20 lbs since beginning of pregnancy and haven't gained any weight back yet. It's concerning to me but OB doesn't seem too concerned. She said to make sure I'm eating 6-8 times a day and drink lots of water, which I do. Try to drink 68 oz a day and I eat as much as my belly lets me. I do get full very easily.
Going for monthly checkup next week and AS on December 23rd.
QOTD- I love all Thanskgiving food, esp cranberry sauce
