Yep...I have them :-( and the BEST part is they are in my butt crack. It started like an awful painful itching and I was too embarrassed to say anything to anyone. I was trying every cream I had (including DS's butt paste!) Then the pain got so bad I could barely wipe when I went to the bathroom, so I used my phone camera to snap a few pics...and holy moley there were blisters everywhere, but only on one side. I was mortified and thought "do I have herpes?!" So I didn't say anything again. But then it got so painful it was affecting how I walk, so I told hubby and then went to to doc. I *think* I turned a corner last night, actually, because this morning when I woke up the pain was lessened a touch, and I took another pic and the blisters seem to be darker and look like a few are crusting over (just like chicken pox). Sorry if that's all TMI. But it's horrible aching pain. I haven't taken any pain killers bc they make me loopy and I have to take care of DS, who currently has hand foot mouth. We are just a bunch of sickies in our house right now. Oh yea, and did I mention I am going back to work next week AND we bought a new house and are moving 3 days after Christmas?! Momma needs a drink...
Oh gosh, I empathize. I got them last year. Felt like I was being stabbed, and nothing I could do could relieve the itching. Ended up just standing in the shower, because super hot water seemed to provide some relief. Mine were on my shoulder blades.
Ugh, sorry. Got them over a year ago and I still have nerve pain where the outbreak started. My doc told me I will most likely get them again. Can't wait!
I got them in college and they were terrible. I will never forget the weird tingling sensation that happened the night before I woke up with blisters. I got them all wrapped all the way around my body right under my boobs. They were so painful.
