We aren't calling it that, or planning anything as big but I have a work trip next month to Orlando and my husband is going to come along so we can do a few days at Disney
Nope. We did a babymoon (hawaii) before we had our first but now with 2 kids it just sounds stressfull to try to plan out a family trip with 2 young children while pregnant.
Our 5th anniversary is in May, so we are planning on a long weekend away without DS to celebrate. So I guess that can be considered a babymoon. We didn't do one before DS, but I feel like it's more important for baby #2 since our time together alone is so rare now anyways, and won't be getting any easier with another baby!
Nope. We'll probably try to get out for a few nice dinners in the next handful of months -- knowing that won't really be an option for a while once LO arrives.
TTC Since 11/10 due to Unexplained IF
4 Rounds of Clomid, 2 Rounds of Femara + IUI, 2 rounds of IUI+ Injectables (Bravelle + Menopur) = First BFP! TWIN GIRLS!
November 2, 2012 - Claire (2lbs 8.9oz) and Paige (2lbs 10oz) arrive at 29w3d due to PTL and pPROM at 28w5d
We'll be visiting the ILs in FL over mid-winter break...thinking about leaving the girls with them overnight and DH and I heading to Miami for a quick getaway.
CP 3/07 BFP 5/07 - Kylie born 2/08. BPF 2/09 - Alexandra born 10/09. TTC since 8/13 - diagnosed difficulty conceiving due to LP defect. Took vitamin B and Vitex Berry to help lengthen. BFP 2/14 - Missed M/C found at 8.5 weeks. D&C at 9w2d. Partial Molar Pregnancy. BFP 11/14
Were going to FL in February or March but I would love to get someone to watch DS for a couple nights so we could go somewhere. Last time we went to the bahamas and it was really nice.
We're going to Asheville for my MIL's 50th birthday around 22 weeks. It's also my birthday week as well so DH and I are hoping for a little alone time during the trip if we can swing it.
I'm a fed so all my annual and sick leave is bein saved for maternity leave. I'm going to skip a friend's wedding which sucks but I just changed jobs this summer and lost all my accrued time.
The whole family is flying out to Europe the second half of May. I don't think my doc will let me do a transatlantic trip at the beginning of the third trimester. I hope to persuade my hubby to treat us to a few nice weekends away, knowing that such things won't be possible once the little one arrives. I will also miss our annual week in the Caribbean, as that will obviously not happen now.

Me- 28, DH- 32 ----> together six years, married June 2012
TTC ---> since the wedding night Initial diagnosis of PCOS, currently labeled as unexplained infertility
Clomid and trigger shot regimen BFP 12/20/13, EDD 8/25/2014, baby got his wings at 11 weeks and 3 days.
We booked flights to Costa Rica when we were still TTC. We wanted one last trip while it was just the two of us. We'll be going on February and I'm almost as excited about that trip as I am about being pregnant
I don't have anything planned yet, but I'm sure we'll take a family trip before Baby comes. My parents really want DS to go visit them in Italy in the spring,so we could have a staycation, but I'm not sure how I feel about it yet
We went to the Dominican Republic for babymoon #1. Last year, we went to Turks and Caicos with DS when he was 9 months old. We loved it so much! We are planning to again this year as a babymooon (though DS will come as well) but haven't quite figured out the timing yet with work commitments.
Not a babymoon, but I've got a trip planned in late March where my twin sister are going to visit our little sister in Oregon, which we try to do every couple years. So that's going to be a lot of fun, and probably my last husband/baby free trip for awhile. Normally we go on a lot of hikes and drink the whole time, so I'm not sure what we'll actually do this year. But they seem totally open to modifying our activities.
DH and I usually go camping a lot in the spring and early summer so I'm hoping I'll feel good enough in May and early June to still be able to get in a trip or two. The good thing about those trips is they can totally be planned last minute, so we can wait and see how I'm feeling with no pressure.
We took a big trip to Europe (Rome, Barcelona, Paris) this fall, right before we started TTC. It was our last hurrah before kids. That, I suppose, is our babymoon as I now have to save my vacation like crazy for a maternity leave! But we were thinking of doing a weekend trip in the third trimester.
I decided yesterday that I want to go eat at The Cheesecake Factory sometime during 2nd trimester. The closest one is almost 2 hours away. Does taking a day trip to go eat delicious food and cheesecake count as a babymoon?
We didn't have a babymoon with our first, but we are taking a small trip this spring in April. We were going to do it as a family vacation with our DS, but we're thinking now we may just do a trip with just DH and I to have some alone time.
@kate5all we travel to Europe 7-10 times per year, so our only "special" trip will be in the second tri to Hawaii.
We're very lucky - MH works for a German company & my job is very flexible so I can work from anywhere. We were in Italy for 15 days a few weeks ago & we're heading back to Europe in 3 weeks to visit Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
After the arrival of our LO, I have no idea how we're going to manage the travel, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Since we already have kids we are planning a family vacation to Disney end of February or early March. Kind of like a baby moon before the new baby comes.
My step-son is coming home for spring break in April, and he flies in to an airport about 2 1/2 hours from us so that he can take a non-stop flight, and I REALLY wanted to do Great Wolf Lodge, but my RE said that we will have to wait and see how things are progressing, that generally she (and she works really close with the OB I'm seeing so I guess they have the same "rules") doesn't want her multiple moms leaving town after week 25. But she said we will see where I'm at when it gets closer. *sigh*
But we do have a CoCo Key water resort in town that I suppose we could go to. But I've never been to Great Wolf Lodge...and it sounds fun...and I want to go....and I'm being a big baby but I can't help it...*cries*

I'm planning to do a few days solo down the shore. With 4 kids, I can't imagine that I'll get to be alone for a long time. With the 3 I have now, I don't get to be alone ever. I just want to be alone!
I'm hoping for a small get away before my husband and I move back to the states. Maybe go to Paris or Garmisch, which are about 5 hours away from where we live. Wishful thinking! I would love Hawaii, but we just got back from San Diego yesterday. The thought of flying makes me nauseous!
I'm hoping to go to a beach, but with our trip being at Spring Break I don't want to be around all the college kids! Maybe All Inclusive but I also don't want it to be too expensive..any good recs out there? (I haven't read through the entire thread yet.) DH wants to go to DisneyWorld or Estes Park, CO. We shall see!!
We are headed to Germany for 11days on Thursday. We planned this trip once we started trying as we've never had a big trip together before and wanted to do it without babies. Plus we know we need to be off to Ireland to visit dh aunt's and uncles after the babies born so who knows when we'll get to travel for just us again
We are planning on it, but can't decide where to go. We thought about the Bahamas, but DH doesn't really want to be out of the country while I'm pregnant (just in case anything goes wrong while we're gone.)
We're also thinking about February or April, so trying to figure out somewhere warm within the states. Maybe somewhere in Florida or I've always wanted to check out Charleston, SC.

Prepare for cold weather! H and I are living in south west Germany now and we should be gettig snow tonight. Safe travels!
Yes, I am actually looking for Baby-moon ideas?? Planning for March because it's both mine and the DH's birthday. Was thinking of doing an Arizona trip, fly in to Phoenix to go to a few Spring training games. (DH is a former Minor League player) Then rent a car and drive up to Sedona to visit Spa and relax. Then up to Flagstaff and to Grand Canyon. Anyone have any thoughts on this? How's the weather in AZ in March. I had initially thought of a Cruise but was somewhat disappointed by the rules.I'd have to do early March and get a Dr. note because I'll be 24 Weeks in the third week of March. Apparently Cruise ships don't allow that. Anyone have experience with this? Also had thoughts of a Caribbean getaway but was appalled at the prices where I wanted to go. I also had concerns about the safety of certain destinations such as Mexico, Dominicana and Jamaica. You can get a great deal for any of these destinations but for some reason I worry about trusting the water and food and wonder why it's so much cheaper than other destinations...anyone have any experiences to share that would sway me or a recommendation on a resort in any location that you might have visited and felt was safe. I did visit Punta Cana in 2006 and it was beautiful. The resort we stayed at, Iberostar was very nice but I am not sure I would have felt the same were I preggo. The food was not terrible but did seem to leave us both with digestive issues. Thanks ladies
We live in Hawaii so it doesn't take much for us to vacation-- everything is within a few hours from us and doesn't warrant a hotel stay. We might go to Maui or Hilo next month but for our babymoon we were talking about New Zealand or Fiji.
Saving up vacation days for maternity leave, and saving up money for a house. Sad panda. I really wanted to go to Maui this year, and hubs is gunning for Belize.
