  Whether it was spotting or full-on flow, I would see if you can get in touch with a doctor, even if it means having to call around a bit to find out who you can see with your new insurance. My main concern would be retained tissue from the D&C. I had after-period spotting in the months after my D&C and ended up finding out I had retained tissue. Not saying that this is necessarily happening to you, too, but in my experience I wish I had called earlier.

  Thanks guys. It is more than spotting, but kind of darker and stickier than a normal flow.. I will call around to be safe.

  I just had something similar happen to me.  I was on my 2nd cycle post MC and I had a terrible period.  On CD 8 of my period (when things looked like they were finishing up) I got bad cramping and starting bleeding like CD1 again.  My period lasted for 13 days when all was said and done.  My doctor said she was only concerned if it was crazy heavy bleeding.  She told me that my choices were to either wait it out, or go back on birth control to level my cycle out.  I decided to wait it out.  Good luck, I know how crazy it can make you when your cycle is not happening the way it used to!  Take care of yourself.
