Someone hold me

Harper wears a red edge work horse under a cover every night. This morning she woke up soaking wet and reeking of ammonia

will a bigger workhorse solve the problem? Should I try GNHW? I've never tried those.

I don't have any. I feel dumb asking this. I should know what a doubler is. Can I make one or do I have to buy them?

Make one. Some bamboo or hemp or something.

ETA: ITK has an insert tutorial in the FAQs, you could do a smaller version of that, right?

Anytime she wakes up I can smell urine when I change her and the work horse is saturated. I thought that was normal?

Let me be clear. If it involves sewing count me out. I don't have a sewing machine and don't know how to even sew a button on.

I have bamboo nb inserts. I wonder if that would help till I can get something else

I add 2 GMD hemp doublers to my red workhorses. No leaks. And they are cheap. FWIW, i put them outside the diaper and inside the cover now that R is bigger.

I think the smell of urine is fine, since they're full of urine after all. But I don't think they're supposed to reek. I'm not dealing with toxic toddler pee myself though, so maybe I'm just speaking from inexperience.

Well maybe I exaggerate a little
