I liked William, James, Samuel, etc. My H liked Beckett, Sawyer, Hudson, etc. I thought we would never agree on a name - but I think we have tentatively decided on Eamon. (We will pronounce it Ay-mon.) We like that it's secular, uncommon but accessible, time-honored - and I admit I like the possibility of Ames as an affectionate nickname.
Of course, I want to know what the internet thinks. Is this name too.. weird? Too hard to spell/pronounce? Any impressions or snap judgments come to mind?
And - any middle name suggestions? (Fake but similar last name)
Eamon James Ramsey
Eamon Cole
Eamon Rhys
Eamon..... ????
