Bleeding and cramping at 6 weeks doc has me in limbo

Yesterday morning I woke up to light bleeding that got progressively heavier to dark red for the next 2 hours. Called my doc and they got me in a few hours later. I thought for sure I was having another miscarriage. U/S showed 6weeks and 2 days with a heartbeat of 100bpm. There is bleeding behind the placenta. Doctor told me everything seems normal for now and that I should come back in a week. She said this could carry to a full term baby.... Maybe.... We are in a "gray area".... I'm so lost on how to feel. Has anyone had this happen?

So sorry you are in limbo! I've been bleeding on and off for weeks, I have a SCH so I understand how you're feeling! Hopefully it will all work out! FX!

I'm in limbo as well. I go for a viability ultrasound today. I've been spotting for 2 weeks and the doctor found a polyp yesterday that could be causing the bleeding but scheduled the u/s to be sure.

I hope all turns out well for everyone.

I have had light bleeding on Friday and none since. The wait and limbo to the next ultrasound sucks!

Did they say it was a subchorionic hematoma or hemorrhage? I have a small one of those, the ER put me on bedrest until I saw the OB who wasn't worried because they usually reabsorb. I had dark red bleeding too which is ok because it's older blood if you have bright red blood it's worse because it's a fresh bleed. My bleed also happened. 6wk 2dy and heartbeat was 115...I hope this makes you feel a little bit better. You can have a lot of blood from the SCH and still carry a healthy baby to term. Try to Relax and put your feet up. Keep us posted, I'll be thinking of you and that little one.

I saw the ultra sound tech type sub chorionic hemorrhage on the U/s. Talked the the doc today who said all my hormones are at the right levels. She wants me to come back in tomorrow to retest. Still bleeding it's very light but now it's bright red blood. I took off work because I'm on my feet all day and trying to keep that baby in place! I feel like this is a lot of blood to lose... Thanks for all the love! It sure helps. ♥️
