Pelvic pain, back ache and cramps

I'm 28 weeks pregnant with my 3rd baby girl and I can't sleep or get comfortable due to pain from my back hurting and cramps due to Braxton Hicks. During the day, it hurts to walk because it feels like someone is stabbing my coochie! Help!!!! I never had this kind of pain with my first two kids.....

Re: Pelvic pain, back ache and cramps

  • The use of coochie made me giggle.

My go-to for the pain and discomfort is rest, water and warm baths. Probably hard to do with 2 kids already but it's the best I have.

  • I believe "lightning croch" is th correct term? Correct me if I'm wrong. Lol And yes it sucks!! I dealt with it with my first but haven't had it yet this time. I'm stuck with awful sciatica and back pain this time. :/ I feel your pain! Literally!! Lol
  • Check your water intake? I had some of these symptoms horribly one afternoon so I called my doctor and she thought maybe I was dehydrated. Sure enough I drank a lot more water and the pelvic pain went away. Still slight back pain on and off but it certainly wasn't as bad...
  • This is my third also and I'm having all of the above pains! I didn't have the same pains with the first two. The pain I'm having down low isn't lightening vag or the baby kicking the cervix, it's more of my pelvis. It hurts like a mother effer.
  • I'm in this club too. Not voluntarily. Ugh.

  • My heating pad has been a huge help on the lower back pains. As for everything else, eesh, I'm sorry. I hope you feel better!
  • Coochie made me smile!
  • This is #2 for me and I came in here to see if anyone else had this issue. It definitely isn't lightning crotch, I have that too. This is a pinched nerve spasm in my mid/right back and pelvic pain that feels more like bone aches. The pelvic pain is awful when I stand after sitting or lying down. :( I have to gimp and hold my breath until it stops.

I got really dehydrated yesterday and had major BH issues and nausea. Drank a ton of water and started feeling better. No relief for the other problems though.
