Driving for the holidays?

we just drove from Philly to West Virginia then to Nashville and back for thanksgiving errrrmahgodd. He just turned 1 month on the 29th..
Honestly the driving was not so bad.. I sat in the back with him to feed him (the bottle!) and comfort him..He slept most of the time but staying somewhere for a week was so exhausting.. Anyone else stay somewhere else for the holiday? How was it? I think I'm gonna need two weeks just to make up for it. And all that 3.5 wks after CS probably wasn't so great..
