Hi twin moms! What would you recommend for wearing twins? Are there any where you can comfortably wear both at once or would you recommend just registering for two?
Theoretically you can wear twins in the k'tan. I had one and never could figure it out. I did use the k'tan all the time in the early days, which was great because I could wear one and hold the other in moments of desperation. But in terms of baby wearing where you can have your hands free to do other stuff - I was never able to make that work with 2.

I wore both of them in the moby when I was desperate in the early weeks. There are YouTube videos on how to do it. Now (8 months old) I can wear them in two ergos- one on back and one on front. I don't do it much but it's doable. DH and I each wear them in one all the time on the weekends. On maternity leave I sometimes wished I had a single stroller so I could wear one and push the other.
I never liked wearing both in the moby, but like pp said that's the most common way to double wear them. I found a double sling I'm going to try out this time around.
Two sets of fraternal twins, 23 mos. apart
First set born 12/27/12 at 35w0d via IVF
Second set born 11/18/14 at 35w6d via FET
I second pp on the tandem baby wearing group on Facebook. I have learned a ton there. I have tried Amanda's tandem hip carry however have not practiced it enough to be good at it. If going on a walk by myself, I will generally wear one - I now prefer using a woven wrap in a FWCC (forward cross carry - very easy beginning wrap) and push one in a single stroller. If with DH, he wears one in an ergo and I wear the other in a wrap.
