Trying to Get Pregnant

I NEED help!!!

I had a miscarriage the 9th of november. Since my system is a bit crazy i didn't know when i was going to ovulate. Like a week after i notice i was ovulating i had unprotected sex with my hubby and i think i might be pregnant because i feel somewhat like the other time. (The same cramps and very sore boobs) I'm worried because the doctor told us to wait 1 menstrual cycle.
Any advice or same experience? Please help.

First off, I'm sorry for your loss.

Second, exactly what kind of help are you looking for here? We can't tell you if you're pregnant. How did you know you were ovulating? Do you temp? Did you take a test? If the doctor told you to wait, I would most definitely consider following those directions.

I have more questions for you than you have for me.

edit: I read the original post incorrectly at first, edit for clarification of my post.

First of all, I am sorry about your loss.  A couple things to keep in mind:
    • Read the Newbie Blog.  Read Taking Charge of Your Fertility (TCOYF).
    • The only way you can confirm ovulation is through temping and/or ultrasound. You can't really "notice" ovulation.
    • After re-reading your question, I think you mean, a week after your chemical pregnancy you "noticed" you were ovulating. Is that correct?
    • The only way to tell if you are pregnant is to take a test.  Test once a week until AF shows up or if you go more than 60 days without AF, contact your doctor.
    • If your doctor advised you to wait a month, you should probably wait a month.
I don't have any personal experience to contribute, but I would recommend learning as much as you can about your body - it makes these situations much easier to handle. Best of luck to you.

  • Hi KingLED! I know how mybody works thank you for the advise. Obviosuly i had sex while ovulating not a week after. Also i know that i should had followed doctors recomendations but I'm not asking that. I was wondering if someone also went through something similiar, if its possible and how it turned out to be.

You want to know if someone had sex and then ended up pregnant? I'm sure millions have. Take a test is the only answer we have here.

  • I can't give you any more "advice" than others already have, but I will tell you my story. The month after my early loss, I also had symptoms EXACTLY like I had the month before when I had been KU. I wasn't pregnant. Turns out I just had residual hormones that were mimicking previous symptoms.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for.
Take your doctor's advice. Learn as much as you can about how things work.

  • I miscarried and got pregnant right away. My doctor said I didn't have to wait. I was really sick the entire pregnancy, but obviously I have no idea whether not waiting caused any hormonal problems causing me to be sick (if that makes any sense), or if I would have been sick regardless. My son is a healthy 16 month old now.
