Achy joints :(

Is anyone else suffering from achy joints? I have terrible, dull, achy pains in my knees and ankles. I saw an orthopedic specialist before I knew I was pregnant and he said he recommended orthotics. My films look good, but this pain is unbearable. Prepregnancy, I would pop several tylenol, ibuprofen, and benadryl and drink a cocktail to fall asleep. Obviously I'm not doing that now.

If anyone else is in a similar boat, and has found a solution other than biofreeze and a single tylenol, please let me know. I'm miserable.

    Thanks. I'm going to soak in an Epsom salt bath once I'm sure my 3 year old is asleep. I have a few.ice packs too.

    I need to get some new compression socks. I may snag a pair of t.e.d.s. tomorrow to get through the work day.

    I didnt have too much prepregnancy. And my achiness is still occasional. I take 2 tylenol if I need it. I also go to a chiropractor. .. which seems to help. Sorry you are having this trouble. Are you still working FT? Would it help to be off your feet more? With all the relaxin and other hormones your joints are loosening up more, which probably makes it worse....

    I see a chiropractor regularly, but usually he doesn't adjust my knees. I forgot to ask today :(

    I am working full time, and I am miserable. I really can't afford to take time before baby with the end so close. My blood pressure was a bit high today, and if it trends high at my appointment next week we will be talking induction at 37 weeks, Dec 15. The end is in sight.

    My hip. So very sore. Heating pad helps. That's it though.

    My lower half is really uncomfortable too. I have a lot of pressure and round ligament pain. My knees ache a lot and my feet hurt. I also have a lovely pinched nerve/joint pain in my pelvis that makes standing, sitting, bending pretty painful. A heating pad helps a little but otherwise I just suffer through it. I CANNOT wait to go on my leave from work! I would do it now if I wouldn't be wasting all that time before the baby.
