Has anyone experienced this? I had a sharp cramp/pain of what i thought was a contraction but it was in my upper right abdomen then a bunch of floating flashing bubbles/lights were all throughout my vision.
I think i will call the dr on call. I feel like i am calling them a lot. Lol
Wouldn't worry about that If you have HELLP, that's not something to be messed with (and you'd likely be induced ASAP). When I was in the hospital with pre-e they asked me every single day "does your upper right abdomen have pain?" and "are you seeing floaters?" because they are classic signs. If you have two of them, I would call. I mean, it could be unrelated and nothing. But I would still call and see what your doctor says.

Just heard back from the dr on call. Getting ready to head up to L&D to be evaluated. We gotta get my 2 boys over to my parents first. Hopefully its just a migrane or something that I need to just "suck it up". I know my last 24 hour urine test was just under the cutoff back in Oct.
I have had flashing lights. Check to see if you can still see the lights when your eyes are closed and whether it occurs in one eye or both eyes. I had to have a dilated eye exam to evaluate my retina (which was fine). The cause was determined to be retinal migraines without headache.

I could hold you for a million years
to make you feel my love.
Im home now. BP was slightly elevated but dropped back down. Urine and blood work came back fine except my potassium level is low. They really couldn't explain why I had that spell. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.
Most definitely call! I experienced that along with my pre-e and they took my girls through a c-section at 32 weeks yesterday. Don't worry that you're calling too much- that's why they are there. I hope everything is okay, keep us updated!
I've gotten sharp pains in my right side and floating spots, but not at the same time. The sharp pains have been coming from dehydration and the spots are usually when I bend over and stand up too quickly. I'm glad everything is OK. Try to stay hydrated and take it easy for a while!
Re: sharp pain and flashing floating lights?
Glad you're going to get checked.
