No name...no discussion of names anymore. Not only will we not name him until we see him, but I don't think we will even have a short list like we did with DD
Many names, but no name picked!!! Ugh actually getting tired of people asking at this point! We are just going to have to wait and see what he looks more like!

I suggested this to DH and he said "All newborns look awful, he won't look like an anything" and I suppose he is right, haha.

Haha this made me laugh - because waiting and seeing was my idea and my husband pretty much said the same thing. He was all like "they all look the same, so how can you tell..." I do have to agree as well, but I told him then you need to sit down and think with me. So for now we are waiting!
We finally chose one and it makes me laugh because everyone is going to hate it and is going to freak out. It is an extremely old name that is not on any of the "baby name lists". It does breakdown into a couple easy 'mainstream' nicknames that we are comfortable with so that should appease my crazy relatives somewhat.
His name is actually one of the most romantic gestures my DH has ever done. DH and I traded geeky historical books back and forth when we were young and the name we decided on is a character in one of the books we read together. DH was the one to suggest it.
DH has had a name picked out since before i became pregnant, I'm not sure about it but I'm waiting until LO is born and then I'll know for sure if I'll let him pick that name or not. I am horrible with names though, it took me a month to name my dog when I got her and I hate the name I went with...
Team green here too. We may have settled on a girl name, but I'm still waiting for DH to come around on one of the MANY options I've tossed out for boy names... or for him to offer one up that I'd actually consider.
I keep reading the title of this post as "Who else still has no shame?" And I think "meeee! No shame here!"
We're team green and have both our names however DH informed me last week he's planning on using a nickname for a boy (if it's a boy) that I had no intention of using. Not sure if I'm into the boy name now. I guess it's a good lesson in not having control over how others nickname the kid.

see, this is funny because aaron is one of the names we're considering. But now I don't want to name my baby after a stubborn ass man.
no name over here and not even the semblance of one. No letters we wanna work with, no orgin meaning nothing. Have no even brainstormed one possible backup name.
No name for baby girl here either. DH and I find people's reactions to this funny. We typically get a confussed look followed by a "What she doesn't have a name yet?" We do have a list but we want to wait to see her.
Just a heads up, I know not all hospitals are the same, but my coworker went into labor super early and had no name picked out, and she was getting harassed by the birth certificate lady 4x a day! And this lady was super evil because the daughter was in the NICU for weeks and she still wouldn't stop calling.
Anyway good luck picking names! And I hope you don't have to deal with annoying paperwork people

I like waiting to see the baby before settling on a name.
Of course, it took almost 2 days for us to settle on one for our first. Middle was already decided at least (family name).
